━━Before Leo starts, he wants to say: He is NOT a Vulcan━he isn't, nor will he ever be!

(But, apart from that, the tour was going great ...)

(Until he learnt about the dragon, that is).

First cool thing: his tour guide had a freaking metal arm! How cool is that? He spent half of the trip from the lake staring at it and trying to figure out how it worked, or how it wasn't completely dragging him down to the ground from the weight. It looked to be bronze. That's heavy. How was it attatched to his shoulder? How does he move it? But apart from that, there was something off about this Cain. Leo doesn't know what it was, but just being around him, he wanted to leave. He wanted to step back because all he could smell was the smell of ashes of the workshop where his mother had died. It alarmed him. It made him want to reach back and grasp Savreen's hand only to realise she wasn't with him.

That made him feel a little worse. He tried to push past it though, focusing on the other cool t hings. Like the real Greek warships moored at the beach that sometimes had practice fights with flaming arrows and explosives (how sweet was that?!); or the arts-and-crafts sessions where you could make sculpters with chain saws and blowtorches (double sweet!). And those girls in the lake? Man, they'd be worth drowning for.

Well, that's if they had Savreen's face ...  maybe ... or were Savreen ... Leo has met really good-looking girls here at camp, but he was always just searching for his best friend. He liked her. How couldn't he? He liked every girl out of his league, but the best thing, this out-of-league girl actually talked to him, and held his hand, and sometimes chuckled at his flirty jokes when they weren't around anyone else. And she loved his cooking, which was a plus.

When he had to say goodbye to her, running after her from that car, he thought he'd never see her again. But he promised to find her again. He had run away, again and again, and then━like a gift from above━he found her at the Wilderness School. It was like a dream come true. After all those years. All those times sleeping in sewers, and running away from terrible foster homes, Leo found the one girl that made him feel like he was home again.

He knew she didn't feel the same way. (They never did). But she was still his best friend, and that was what mattered more than anything else. And he really wanted her here to see all this cool stuff with him, but he had last seen her at the lake, and now he had no idea where she could be.

Cain glanced at him as he showed him the dining pavilion, "I'm not going to bite you. Trust me, I'm not as scary as I look, kiddo."

Then why do I feel so scared of you? Wondered Leo to himself. Why do you smell like the dreaded workshop I try to forget
