Haizaki was laying on his bed blasting music in his earphones while looking at his phone.
The ring of the doorbell made him snap back to the reality. Groaning, he stood up.
"Who could be at this time?"
His dark blue ocean eyes widened as his gaze fell upon the black haired first year.
"Hello." She gave a small smile.
"Hey." He leaned against the door with hands folded on his chest.
"Uzui-san asked me to give you today's notes." She had some books in her hands.
"Oh. Come inside." He opened the door wider for her.
"Eh.. N-no it's okay."
"Oh come on. I don't bite." He chuckled.
Her heart sped up at his invitation. She nervously stepped inside.
"Pardon the intrusion." She slipped off her shoes.
"Just sit here. Let me bring something." He disappeared into the kitchen.
Y/N just sat there fiddling with her fingers. She was in a boy's home alone.
She had spent time with him alone. Buying drinks for everyone during lunch break and walking home with him were normal but this time, it was different.
"Here. It's not much." He brought a tray of some cookies and a glass of juice.
"Thanks." She smiled at him.
Silence engulfed both of them. None of them knew what to say. It was getting awkward.
Finally Haizaki decided to speak.
"So.. How was the day? Was everything alright?"
She looked up at him.
"Yeah. Everything was fine."
"Hmm.. Did you walked her alone?"
His question made her realize something. She gasped before taking out her phone.
"Giyuu-san asked me to drop message once I get home."
She quickly typed something before looking at her lap again feeling embarrassed.
Haizaki chuckled at her actions.
"You're forgetful sometimes huh?" He smirked.
"N-no not all times. It was just once." She protested.
Gradually, the awkwardness disappeared. They got comfortable in each other's presence.
"Are you going to complete your work?" She asked looking at Uzui's books.
Haizaki pouted.
'Cute.' She chuckled.
"I don't want to right now." He put the books aside.
