Grey eyes glared at the opened textbook on the desk. But the mind was somewhere else. In the background, the teachers explanation was going on. But no knowledge got absorbed in her brain.
For her mind was somewhere else.
The teacher found her spacing out and suddenly asked her explain the current topic only for her to panic flipping pages to find the right paragraph. She was grateful to Shinobu who secretly pointed the paragraph and saved her from scolding.
"That's okay for now. L/N-san pay attention to the class."
The lunch bell rung making the students hurriedly leave the class. Y/N gathered her books only to see Shinobu and Mitsuri standing in front of her with a smile.
"So Y/N-chan?" She nervously hummed given how suspicious her friend's tone was.
"Mind telling us where your mind was?"
"W-what? Not at all!"
"Y/N-chan it's the first time we found you staring blankly into space with such a love struck expression. Tell us. Tell us." Mitsuri tightly grabbed her hand.
Y/N just stood there wuth an unreadable expression on her face.
FLASHBACK 🕑
Sunlight shone brightly hitting Haizaki's face. The sudden brightness made him shift in his place. He groaned and tighten his grip around something he assumed he was hugging in his sleep.
But the sensation of something fluffy and soft made him freeze in his place. Something tickled his neck making him squirm. He slowly opened his eyes and yawned but his mouth abruptly shut up and his half asleep eyes widened as his gaze fell upon the sleeping figure near him.
Only one question came to his mind.

He stared at the girl's sleeping figure in his arms. How did she ended up sleeping beside him when he correctly remembered she took the bed?
But pushing aside the question, he eyes continued to stare at her peaceful sleeping face. Her long eyelashes and stray hair strands falling on her face. Her chest roze steadily with her breathes.
His moment of admiriation was cut off but the squirming of the girl.
Y/N opened her eyes only to be met with dark blue ocean ones. Staring at them in confusion for a moment, did her eyes widened in realization. She fell down the bed last night and fell asleep beside Haizaki.
Panicking she sat up making her forehead hit his. Groans erupted in the silent morning atmosphere.
"I am so sorry Haizaki-san. I was supposed to sleep on the bed and I fell down."
Haizaki chuckled at her and ruffled her already messed up hair. He stood up and stretched which made his T-shirt roze a bit exposing his toned stomach.
