Time passed by like a breeze. It felt as if it was just yesterday that they met. That they went on their first date. That they started dating.
Now, the whole group found themselves standing in the auditorium for the time of graduation ceremony has come.
The moment was bittersweet. Happiness for hard work of all the years finally being paid of while sadness for being separated.
"Akane Haizaki."
The brunette made his way to the stage for his name was called out. His dark blue ocean eyes instantly locked with grey ones. A wide smile made its way on their faces as she clapped for him. Beside her was her mother who took a day off for his graduation ceremony.
The students poured out of the auditorium. Their faces sparkled with happiness.
"Ok Haizaki-kun. Time for a photograph."
Sakura brought out the camera as Haizaki and other third years posed together with the brunette squished in the middle.
Y/N could only watch with a gentle smile as he laughed with his friends. However, in her heart, sadness lingered as the day was his last day before he leaves for America.
"Y/N!"
"Cherry!"
Her eyes met her mother's and she smiled widely as she ran to Haizaki and engulfed him in a tight hug.
"Congratulations Zaki."
He kissed her forehead.
"Y/N! Haizaki-kun!"
They turned around to see her mother waiting to click their photograph. Haizaki brought the girl in front of him and handed her his certificate before hugging her from behind. His head rested on hers as they smiled.
Since, Haizaki had to leave the next day. Everyone decided to dedicated their whole day to him. The rest of the day after ceremony was to spent with his friends.
While the evening and night was to spent with his girlfriend.

The orange and red sky was painted over by darkness and stars twinkled and the moon bathed the city with its soothing shine.
Y/N stepped in his apartment. The once filled and lively room was now empty. Most of the things were packed.
Her heart sank at the sight. She knew that it will be difficult for both of them. And she knew that she can't act childishly. She had to support him and be there for him. For she loves him.
She went to his room only to see his clothes scattered on his bed. He was folding his shirts when he looked up. His features soften and he smiled.
"Hey Cherry."
She smiled and started folding the rest of the clothes. He noticed how quiet she was and he knew the reason. Putting down the shirt he was about to fold, he hugged her.
"You are so quiet."
She hugged back and nuzzled her face in his chest.
"I am going to miss you."
He could hear the cracks in her voice and his heart clenched. He lifted her face only to see her glossy eyes.
He kissed her eyelids.
"I am going to miss you too, Cherry."
He could feel his eyes watering and instanly blinked away the tears.
She tiptoed and pressed her lips against his. Her arms wrapped around his neck and his around her waist.
They pulled away only to kiss once again.
"I love you Y/N."
"Love you too Zaki."

"Ah Haizaki-kun! Come come!"
Sakura smiled as Haizaki made his way to the couch. She could see the redness in her daughter's as well as his eyes.
"Let's have dinner."
Haizaki felt his heart warming as the older woman poured curry in his plate. She always treated him as her own child which he was thankful to. She always reminded him of his mother. Being there on his graduation ceremony, always keeping his health in check, insiting for having dinner together. Although she was a busy woman, she tried her best for being there for her daughter and him.
The clock struck 9 o'clock. With every passing second, his departure time was nearing.
"Ah Cherry. Wait for me. I forgot something in my room."
She waited for him to come back in her room.
She was looking at their photographs which he randomly clicked and could only chuckle. Her eyes widened as she felt something fluffy and soft wrapped around her neck.
A navy blue scarf.
She turned around to see Haizaki looking at her with a smile.
"This.... But... It's your favorite one."
He chuckled.
"Yea it is. Now that I'll be away, I am giving it to you to remind you that I am with you."
She smiled and hugged him.
"Ah wait and here this too."
She watched as he brought out a small box. Her eyes widened as he held a small necklace with their names' initials.
She turned around and he put it.
"Children! Go to sleep!"
They chuckled and went to the bed. She waited for him to turn off the lights. He crawled beside her and she wrapped her arms around him and his arms wrapped around her bringing her closer to him.
"Good Night Cherry."
"Night Zaki."
They fell into the slumber, cherishing each other's warmth. Wanting nothing but the moment to stop.
