"Y/N-chan!!! Hurry up or we are going to miss the play."
Mitsuri grabbed Y/N's hand dragging her towards the gymnasium where the Haizaki and his class had organised the play. The first years' teacher had given them a break to watch the play.
Giggling at her friend's enthusiasm, Y/N entered the gym. It was housefull for the third year boys were popular around the school. So, it was known that the fangirls would not waste a single second to watch the play.
Not being able to find empty seats, Y/N and her friends decided to stand at the bleachers to get a perfect view of the play.
The lights dimmed and a pin drop silence took over the gym. Curtains rose up and the lights focused on the stage.
Fujimura Saki was doing a great job playing the role of Alice. Even though Uzui and others had threatened her to stay away from Haizaki, they couldn't change the cast of the play.
Finally, it came the time of the Hatter's appearance. Just as he appeared on the stage, the whole place erupted in cheers and squeals.
With a black top hat on his head and a black cane in one hand, Haizaki appeared wearing black tail coat paired with white gloves. A charming smile was etched his face.
Y/N felt her heartbeat quickened like the wings of a hummingbird. His dazzling smile stunned her and his alluring voice was like a music to her ears.
Grey eyes met dark blue ocean. They were a-dazzle with wonder over a charming smile. She felt herself drawn to him even more. Her lips curved into a gentle and affectionate smile.
However, soon the smile turned into a frown when the scene of the Hatter and Alice came. Y/N couldn't help but feel her heart clench as she continued to watch the duo. How much perfect both of them looked together.
She was in love with Haizaki but never was sure about his feelings. To her, it was just one-sided love which will only give her hurt more than happiness.
The play reached its final scene. Haizaki brought Saki close to him. The scene was to kiss her but he improvised it. As he leaned in for a kiss, he brought two fingers to her lips and planted a kiss.
Although, it was not an actual kiss but from someone else's point of view, it was. Feeling her heart sink, she stormed out of the gym leaving Shinobu and Mitsuri call for her.
Uzui who had witnessed the whole incident cursed before running off to find Haizaki.

The sky was painted with orange and red hues. Y/N sat in her classroom with her head dug into her arms. Her heart ached at the sight of Haizaki with someone else. She knew it was childish of her to act like this. She knew that she didn't had the right to act ridiculously for Haizaki wasn't her boyfriend.
