INTRODUCTION

I am Sidra. I'm 20 yrs old and I'm from India.I could depict myself as an Ambivert. I might be sometimes quite reserved depending on the situation or the person. But at times I am outgoing too. I was formerly known as MsOodlesrainbow.

What inspired you to start writing?
To be very honest, I never read Novels or Any story Books since my childhood but In 2019 when I read kiranHafeez's books, I was blown away and Her books had those phenomenal effect on me which brought drastic change in my life. She's My Inspiration.

When did you start writing?
I wrote my first Story, "The White Envelope" in 2019, it was in the month of December.

Have you always wanted to be a writer?
No! I never reckoned myself as a writer. Writing wasn't my cup of tea back then. But I guess the compelling bliss and Anxiety free life of books dragged me in and thus I am an Amateur writer now. In'shaa'Allah, If everything goes well I'll be a Published writer someday.*fingers crossed*

What comes first the plot or the Characters?
Most of the Writer would say Plot, But in my case, Characters come first then comes the plot. If I look back at the outlining of All the stories I have written till now then I have my characters All set, but my plot wasn't properly developed. I don't know If this made sense to you guys but yeah that me and the way I create stories.

What is the most difficult part about writing for you?
As I mentioned earlier, Writing gives me some sort of Peace but at the same time it's quite stressful. The hardest part of writing for me is Dealing with self doubt. And another major hardest part would be Writing certain scenes. The way I write is that I see a Scene in my head and I write it down but sometimes the scene just don't play in my head. I get various ideas but I don't find them interesting, they don't fit in. So until a perfect scene doesn't hit me I couldn't write anything. Another thing that would destroy my writing is when I stumbled into the dreaded writers block halfway through the story.

When you're writing an Emotional, Sad, Romantic scene, how did you get in the mood?
Well, I find it Unchallenging to Write an Emotional Or sad scene when compared to a Romantic scene. I have to read Books or watch Movies related to Romance to write it. Sometimes I watch Emir&Reyhan's videos too lol. Over All I binge watch or Read to write anything romantic but I can easily write an emotional scene.

What was your most favorite part and least favorite part of the publishing Journey?
The most favorite aspect of my publishing journey is definitely the positive comments and messages of appreciation from readers and astounding response I got on my books.
The least favorite aspect would be my constant writers block and My Procrastination.

Did you find it more challenging to come up with your First Book?
Alhamdulillah, Not really! Because the friends I made here on wattpad supported me alot. I remember, I was quite nervous to publish my first Novel "Everything happens For a Reason" But All my Watty friends motivated me to take a Step forward and publish it. And being the sweethearts they supported me at every step and are Still supporting. Those people made my journey alot easier ♡
