And please welcome the Most Amazing and Hard Working Author kainatazharr 🤝

So yeah let's get started😚🤞

🎤INTRODUCTION

Assalaamu 'Alaikum. I hope you're all doing well.
My name is Kainat Azhar. I'm eighteen years old, and I'm currently a freshman in college.
I'm planning on majoring in either Psychology or English, Insha Allah.
My hobbies include reading groundbreaking stories, trying to write beneficial stories of my
own, and driving!

🎤What inspired you to start writing?

I've always just had a passion for writing. I think I was fascinated by the way we can produce
and enter new worlds through just words.

🎤When did you started writing?

I started writing from a very young age - probably around second or third grade. Even though it was just small stories written on scraps of notebook paper here and there, I still loved it.

🎤Have you always wanted to be a writer?

Yes. It was my first dream job, but I put it to the side for a while because I believed I wouldn't be able to have a good career from it. But I have hope now that Insha Allah, writing can be a hobby as well as a job.

🎤What comes first, the plot or the characters?

This is tough. I think most of the time, they go hand in hand, but I always just have a basic idea of the two. The story usually revolves around the characters, their experiences, their growth. So perhaps the characters come first.

🎤What is the most difficult part about writing for you?

I think the most difficult part is constantly wondering whether the message I'm spreading is in
line with Islamic teachings. Wondering that even though my readers are happy, is Allah happy
with me?

🎤When you're writing an emotional, sad, or romantic scene, how do you get in the mood?

I pour a lot of depth into my characters, so writing an intense scene isn't too difficult because Ifeel every emotion they are feeling. I think every writer puts a little bit of themselves in their characters, so as a result, they are able to write about the trials and experiences of the characters from a clear vantage point.

🎤What was your most favorite and least favorite part of the publishing journey?

My most favorite was probably seeing all the support my lovely readers gave me and my least
favorite was probably having to continuously go back to a chapter or a paragraph or a phrase
because I feel that it isn't consistent with the message I'm trying to put out. It's a lot to keep track of. Also, the pressure to produce something I may not be entirely happy with because my
readers are waiting is a little overwhelming sometimes.
