Verity and Bakugou were walking down a street about 2 miles away from the place Endeavor had given them. They walked in silence, pretty much being left alone by the civilians. The way there was secluded. They went down a narrow alley, in which Bakugou got stuck.

"Hey, bitch can you fucking help me instead of laughing like a freak." For the past 5 minutes, she had broken out into uncontrollable laughter.

"I wouldn't have to if you didn't get your fatass stuck," he just glared as she continued to chuckle, finally grabbing and pulling him out of the tight spot.

Afterward, they went on their way, eventually coming to the area written down. There stood a tall man with slicked-back hair, so greasy you could almost see oil dripping from it. He sneered in disgust, seeing teens instead of the pro heroes he had requested.

"They told me I would be meeting with someone from Endeavor's agency, not a bunch of kids," Bakugou was already fuming by his statement. Verity took the opportunity to step forward, resting a hand on his chest.

"We are from his agency, but if you don't want to disclose your information with a bunch of "kids" I'd be happy to arrest you. Then you can meet with the police if that's better. Although, I have a feeling you don't really have a good relationship with the law." I gave him a wide grin, to which he rolled his eyes.

"Whatever, let's just get this over with," The man took a step towards them before motioning them to follow. "We can't do this so public, come with me."

They walked behind him, Bakugou keeping a close eye on the girl sandwiched between him and the sleaze. They finally arrived at a building. The man opened the door with a key card before heading to the stairs. Trekking up them until they got to the roof, being met with a table and chairs.

Y/N sat down first, the other two following in suit.

"I'm gonna ask you a few questions, so try to answer honestly," the man's eyes rolled again before he nods for her to continue.

Her eyes had now changed from their natural color to pure white. "Was this whole plan a setup?" The man's eyes across from her turned white as well before he spoke.

"My group wanted to get Endevavor alone to prove ourselves to the Leauge, when you two showed up we had to change our plan. We are planning on using you as bait to lure him here." The man snapped back after he finished, he looked stunned.

Quickly getting up the man pulled out a gun pointing it directly at the girl before Bakugou tackled him. The others who had been secretly listening were now out heading towards Y/N. Swiftly she pulled small knives out of her boot, she threw them towards two of the men, hitting them in the thigh. The other two approached her, swinging as she dodged, kicking one in the chest. The other knocked out by Katsuki. While Katsuki took care of the men, she took her phone out, calling Hawks.

"Hey, it was an ambush, think you can come get us. We're at the corner of third and fifth, on the rook of the second largest building in the area." As soon as she hung up, the winged hero appeared.

"Hey, kid, need a ride?" Hawks bright smile forced one onto her face as she grabbed his hand.

"Bakugou, cone on, it's time to dip." Katsuki looked over, running and jumping onto another building before, jumping again, meeting the ground. He kept his eye on hawks as he ran, eventually seeing the birdman stop up ahead.

Coming up to the other two, Katsuki doubled over, breathing hard.

"You gotta stop getting yourself into messes like this, birdie," Hawks had already set her down, now patting her head. "As much as I like being your knight in shining armor, Enji would kill me if anything happened to you."

"Yeah, yeah, I know, this is what, the third set up this month?" Turning to Bakugou, she saw he had a deep cut on his upper arm. "Bird Boy, you think you can let the big man know what happened, I'm gonna take lord explosion here back to base." Hawks noded giving her a wink before taking off.

When they got back, she took him to the medic room. Starting to clean the cut he finally spoke, "I'm fine dumbass, it's just a scratch."

"Yeah, but it needs stitches. We have nothing else to do anyway." She cleaned and stitched the wound, offering a numbing agent to which Katsuki refused. After, she dressed it in gauze before turning to wash the blood off her hands.

"So, you actually can fight," it sounded more like a question than a statement.

"Yeah, you think Endeavor would let me shadow if I wasn't good at fighting."

"What is that all about anyway? I've never seen you before." She turned to dry her hands as she sat in front of him.

"I worked for an agency in North America, so when I decided to move, I got recommended here."

"So, he just let you join right away, like that?"

"Of course not, I had to prove myself, that took about a month and a half," she looked up at him, their gazes meeting. "I like it here better than where I was, so I was willing to do whatever it took."

"Why did you move, Aren't you still in school?"

"Nope, I graduated early. I moved about 6 months or so after I finished school. Don't get me wrong, I love home, but I just needed a change."

Katsuki nodded, looking around before jumping off the counter.

"I should go change. Hey, sorry about coming off so brutal," the girl was surprised by the sentiment. From what she heard from Shoto, the blonde wasn't the type to be remorseful.

"Nah, don't apologize, I get it," her hand outstretched, "I would enjoy working with you again." His hand met hers, a small blush crept onto his cheeks causing him to avert his eyes.
