"Wow, Y/N, you fucking suck at this game." They had started their third round of Super Smash Bros. Even Denki was making fun of her losing streak, not that he had any room to talk. Only a point separated their scores.

To say she was distracted was an understatement. She and Enji had gotten into another fight that morning, which as of recent, wasn't uncommon. However, there was something different. His words were much viler, almost as if he intended to make her suffer from overthinking. Her wrist still felt the ghosts of his hands, causing her to shudder every once in a while. "Y/N, looks will not make you a good hero." Enji's hands ran up to her forearms."You will never amount to anything if you only get work by sleeping with the boss." Tears had pricked her eyes. He knew what he was doing. He knew he had her right where he wanted her.

"Y/N? Your character hasn't moved for the past five minutes." Kiri looked at the girl sitting next to him worriedly. "Are you okay?"

"Yeah, sorry, I guess I'm just out of it, is all." She gave the boy a nudge and a small forced smile.

"I'm probably gonna head out soon." As much as she enjoyed staying in the dorms, some nights, she couldn't face everyone.

"Okay, I'll walk you out." Kirishima's mouth spread into a grin as he stood up with her. "Bye, Y/N." Denki jumped up to hug her while Sero and Mina waved.

"Bye Cockski, I'll see all of you Friday, if not sooner." Bakugou rolled his eyes at the new nickname, cursing whoever told her his first name.

"Oh wait, Y/N, I was wondering if you wanted to come with us to a party Friday. One of the 3-B students is throwing a gettogether since their parents are away." Mina looked up at the girl, giving her a pout to convince her.

"You know what, why not." Y/N laughed, patting Mina's head before turning back to the door.

"Yes, girl, this will be so much fun. You should totally come here to get ready." Without stopping, Y/N enthusiastically agreed, giving one last wave as she walked out the door.

"Hey, you sure you're okay? I've never seen you that quiet." Kiri rested a hand on her shoulder, looking her in the eyes. "Yeah, I'm fine. I need some sleep." He nodded, switching his gaze to the floor.

"Not to be disrespectful, but don't you think you're working yourself too hard. You go to Endeavor's agency almost every day. When you're not working there, you work at U.A. That's unpractical, even for someone like you." Y/N couldn't deny he brought up a good point. She was mentally and physically exhausted. Although she could surely stop assistant teaching, she had found that she was improving as much as they were.

"Yeah, you're right. I'll talk to Enji soon." Y/N smiled up at him, arms wrapping around Kiri. "Thank you for caring." Surprised by her sudden gesture, his face became red. "Absolutely. What else are friends supposed to do? If you ever need anything, let me know. I'm always here if you need to talk." Y/N gave the boy one last smile before leaving, saying she would see him soon and all that jazz.

Once she was out of sight, Y/N finally gave up on her fake demeanor. The smile she had worn slid off her face. She felt like she was on the edge of having a full-blown meltdown. The guilt that burned her chest had done anything but subsided. She had always promised herself she would never cheat. If she became unhappy, she would end it. But now, Enji held the key to her future in his hands. If she left him, her career would most definitely be over.

"Doll?" the voice made her jump, her tears still pulsating down her face, making her sight blurred. Using her sleeve, she wiped her moist face, revealing Dabi. He was leaning against an alley wall, cigarette between his middle and index finger.
