I felt warmth all around me. I opened my eyes and sat up. I was on a couch in some kind of house. I tilted my head confused as I looked around some more. There were stairs behind the couch and a kitchen too. I heard a door open and my head snapped in that direction. "Oh good! You're awake!" Came a small voice. It was the same girl from earlier, with her brother coming in not long after.
"Where am I?" I asked. She frowned a bit. "You don't remember? Your eyes were open on the way here, So I assumed you were awake. Then again, there was an odd black smoke surrounding you..." My eyes widened as my jaw dropped. "So I passed out?" "Yup! Sugar carried you here!" Her brother blushed slightly. "Thank you for bringing me here." Sugar smiled. "No problem." I sat up as they shut the door and came to sit down. "I'm Grifeetie! And this is my brother Sugar!" She introduced. "I'm Y/n, don't really have any family." I chuckled at the end.
"Where did you come from?" Sugar asked. "The sky." I joke. He smiled and rolled his eyes. "I mean how did you end up here." I laugh. "I know what you meant. I opened this basket that was given to my circus. It ended up taking me to a sort of safe place for different you's. I then ended up going through Birdtale, then I was taken to this other place. I think it was Dreamtale? And The-" Sugar stopped you. "I have no idea what any of those are. But I assume you're trying to get home?" I nodded frantically and turned to him. "That's EXACTLY it!" He laughed and stood.
"Well let's get you home then." He smiled. Grifeetie stood up and clapped her hands. "We're going on an adventure!" Grifeetie cheered. "Slow down guys! How exactly are we gonna get me home?" They looked at each other and back to me. I face palmed and sighed. "We're gonna have to figure that out first. I'm not sure if Ink will be able to find this place." I begin to think out loud. "Who's Ink?" They asked in unison. "Oh, right. Let me explain!"
Ink's POV
"I've got good news and bad news." Ink said. Dream and Fresh perked up. "The good news is, I've narrowed down where Y/n could be." He stated. "And the bad news?" Fresh asked. "It's 10 different AU's, 9 of them being dangerous." They all looked between each other. "So there's only a 10% chance that she's safe?" Ink was hesitant to answer. "Yes.... and no." He answered. "What do you mean no?" Fresh asked harshly. "The 10th AU is one I'm not familiar with. So I'm not sure if she's safe or not..."
"We need to get moving then." Fresh stood up with a determined look on his face. Ink and Dream looked at Fresh and nodded. 'I hope she's alright...' Fresh thought to himself.
Y/n's POV
I was walking through snowdon with my hands in my pockets. The two skeletons were on either side of me. We had all agreed to wander around until any ideas came up. I let out a long sigh. "Any ideas yet?" I asked them. "Not really." Grifeetie replied. "Figured as much..." They looked at each other and then to me. "So what are you gonna do when you go home?" Sugar asked. I stopped in my tracks at the question. "I haven't really thought about it."
They stopped aswell and turned to me. "So you don't know?" They asked. "Not really. I might just go back to how things used to be." You explain. "Why not stay in what you call the multiverse?" A light bulb went off in my head. "You know what, that's not a bad idea." The lightbulb then dimmed out. "Except..." Grifeetie looked at you with worry. "Except what?" She asked, walking up to me. "Except for the fact that my friends need me..." She let out a small 'oh'. "I can't just leave them with our instructor. Who knows what he'll do to them now that I'm gone."
"Will you be able to take them with you?" Sugar asked. "I'm not sure. I'll have to ask Ink and the others when they find me." I continued to walk, them hesitantly following behind. 'At least I hope they find me' I thought to myself. "If you can... and decided to bring your friends. Can we meet them?" Grifeetie asked. I looked back at her and smiled. "Of course, they would love to meet you." Grifeetie smiled aswell and caught up with me.
A portal opened without me noticing. I heard a few grunts before quickly turning around. Grifeetie and Sugar were tied up back to back. Fresh stood beside them with his skateboard. Ink and Dream ran up to me from out of the portal. "Y/n you're alright!" Dream exclaimed. "Of course I'm alright. Can you let Grifeetie and Sugar go now?" I asked as my wings slightly puffed up. "Are these the people you were talking about? Y'know, Ink, Dream, and Fresh?" Grifeetie asked.
The boys looked at Grifeetie with surprise. I went to untie them myself since everyone was just standing there. "Yeah, they've been trying to help me get back." You explain. Fresh smirked as he nudged you. "You've been talking about us dudette?" He asked. I blushed slightly and swatted at his elbow. "Yeah, why wouldn't I?" I reply as Grifeetie and Sugar wiped the snow of their clothes. "Does that mean you like us bruh?" Fresh asked. You let out a laugh and faced him. "What? Am I supposed to hate you for helping me?" Grifeetie and Sugar also laughed. Fresh blushed and looked away.
"You two stop flirting, we have to get Y/n home before nightmare shows up." Ink stated. The both of us blushed and I turned to Sugar and Grifeetie to say goodbye. "I guess I'll see you two around." I say. They nod their heads as the boys go back through the portal. I walk up to it before turning around and waving. Sugar and Grifeetie waves back with smiles. I smile as well and turn to the portal. I jump in and it disappears behind me.
So sorry for the short chapter and the long wait! School has been awful and I'm glad I got this chapter out. Just a few more to go before the story is completed! Thank you all for reading ^^
