The others were exploring the doodle sphere. Y/n on the other hand was waiting for the portal to re-open. She was on edge and hoping Nightmare didn't get to them again. A hand landed on her shoulder, making her jump. "Y/n are you alright? You've been staring at nothing for a while." Came the worried tone from Chimera. Y/n nodded slowly then looked down at her feet. "I'm guess I'm just on edge."
Chimera looked at Y/n with sympathy. "Why are you on edge?" They asked. She looked at Chimera and frowned. "What if they find us again? This isn't the first time I've gotten away from him." She expressed her worry to Chimera. They nodded and looked down to the ground, before looking back to you. "Well, that seemed like a pretty clean escape. What if Nighmare can't track this place?" Realization hit Y/n. "You're right! The only time he was able to follow me was to that tree place. He's never followed me here!"
Chimera smiled, "That means we're safe here!" They exclaimed. You nod and hug Chimera. "Now you don't have to be so on edge." They said, pulling away from the hug. Y/n nodded in agreement. Ink popped out of nowhere and opened a portal. Dream and Fresh both walked through it. Both of them had a few scratches here and there. Other than that, they looked like they were fine.
"Welcome back you two!" Y/n walked up to them. Chimera and the others following. "Thanks for getting us out of there." Denim said. "No problem!" Dream replied with a smile. "So what happened with Nightmare?" Y/n asked. Fresh and Dream shivered. "Some dude in a cloak appeared. Nightmare looked scared to death of the guy. So we got outta there fast bro." Fresh explained. "Oooooh! You mean Ga-" "Anyway! We're now going to take you guys home." Dream interrupted. You and the others look at each other. "I don't really want to go back there..." You look down at the ground, but hear the others agree.
"Can we.... stay here in the doodle sphere?" Chimera asked. The Dream team looked at each other, not sure how to reply. They all huddled up and began whispering to each other. You and the others sat there, waiting for their answer. They them turned back around and faced all of you. "You can stay here." Ink began, you all cheered silently. "On a few conditions." All of us still smiled and waited for Ink to continue.
"You all can't judge the way I do things. If you ever come to an AU with me, you'll have to either stay hidden, or use full form disguises. Do you all agree with this?" You and your friends all nodded in understanding. "Good!" Ink said. "And now that the Nightmare situation is taken care of. We don't have to worry about him and his group at all." Dream pointed out. You all smile and Fresh, along with Dream, turn to leave. Dream opened a portal to the tree place and walked through it.
Before Fresh went up to the portal, you ran up and gave him a quick peck on his cheek bone. His blushed madly and rode his skateboard through the portal. You let out a giggle and went back to talk to your friends. "Ooooooo, someone has their first loooovvvve." Denim teased. You elbow him in the side and laugh. "Shut up." You say playfully. "But it's ai fun to tease people who have crushes." Denim whined. You all began laughing. Ink then walked up to the group. "Since you guys will be living here from now on. I've decided to make a house! I took reference from houses I've seen in the different AU's I've traveled to."
Your group looks behind ink to see a big house sitting behind him. Your eyes sparkle, and all of you rush to see what it looks like on the inside.
Nobody's POV
"YOU ARE ALL UTTERLY USELESS!" Gaster roared out at Nightmare and his accomplices. "YOU HAD ONE JOB. ALL YOU HAD TO DO, WAS GET Y/N AND HER OTHER PESKY 'FRIENDS' " They all flinched at how loud his voice was. He used his floating hands to grab each one of them, and throw them into square cells. "Now all of you will be trapped inside your own minds, until I decide to let you out." Gaster then disappeared out of their sights. A loud growl being left behind.
Gaster knew he had no power in the real world. So he stuck to the mindset. Since Nightmare and the others failed to capture Y/n, Gaster needed to find a different way to capture them. Because his sons, were still trapped in the underground. He didn't care about his other 'children's as much as he did those two skeletons.
Nightmare, Dust, Horror, BlackBerry, and Error's bodies were still in the real world. Each of them were now in hospital beds, being looked after by Vile. Who was going to figure out how to get them out of the cells in their minds. Where they each sulked and regretted their decisions, all except Nightmare, who was filled with rage.
Back with the Dream bois
They had all chosen their rooms. All that was left was to collect belongings from their world. Ink opened a portal to their circus. They all walked in and collected things they wanted. First, they all collected any clothes they had from their lockers. Along with whatever jewelry they came across.
It was a good thing the director was no where to be found. They were taking a lot of stuff from there, and shoving it into a bag provided by Ink. Y/n then found something familiar. It was a small grey feather. The first baby feather she had shed. She smiled warmly and tucked it behind her ear as a accessory. Chimera had found paint buckets. They always wanted to try and art projects. So Chimera took as much as they could carry.
The others only grabbed clothes, as they didn't really have anything they wanted to grab. Denim did sneak some makeup into his bag though. "Everyone ready to head back?" Ink asked. They all nodded in sync. So Ink opened a portal back to the doodle sphere. Each one of them went through the portal, not taking one look back. The portal lead right into the living room of the house. So they wouldn't have to drag their stuff everywhere.
They all went to their individual rooms to set them up. But Y/n stopped before leaving Ink alone. "Thanks again, for saving me and my friends that is. That circus sucked." She chuckled. "It's no problem. I'm not in the doodle sphere much anyway. And you can always ask for things you need me to make for you." Ink smiled and walked out of the house. Shutting the door behind him. Y/n finally went to her room and plopped down onto her bed.
"Living here is gonna be great."
