Y/n  POV

It was a day like any other. Me and the other "freaks" were doing warmups for our performance. We traveled everywhere, right now we were in a rich area. So our performance had to be really good tonight. I stretched my body and wings while putting on a tight black dress and leggings. Looking around I see people start to gather by the curtains. I joined the group and peeked out. Tonight was a full house, we'd make a TON of money from this. Then the owner walked in and clapped his hands.

"Places people! The show is about to start! And none of you mess up, the president himself is here!" He spoke quickly.

Everyone including me rushed to our positions. I flew up into my giant bird cage and closed it. The director went out and announced to the crowd the first preformer: the Lioness. I wished her good luck and her tail flicked nervously. She ran out and did a few flips before jumping through a hoop. The crowd cheered and I giggled. The next person was announced, and out ran the cheetah. He did parkour up his setup and let out a snarl when he landed. The audience roared in applause as the preformers continued. Each person was called out one by one. They all did their part, and it was soon my time. I took deep breaths as he called my stage name.

"Now welcome one of our most famous preformers! The Fallen Angel!"

My cage started to move and the curtains opened for it to pass through. I stood in a stance as if I were a queen. The crowd cheered as I came out and I waved to everyone. My automatic door cage opened and I jumped out with my wings closed. The crowd gasped and I counted the feet I fell. I spiraled in the air and opened my wings just before hitting the ground. I grabbed some grey shade colored confetti from a bucket and flew over the crowd. It sprinkled over them and everyone cheered. It was then time to go and pick up the dwarf. I swooped down were the crowd couldn't see me and picked up the butterfly winged dwarf. When we were both in view and fellow preformers had formed a circle. I flew to the center and threw the butterfly up. They flapped their wings and I grabbed their hands. We started to dance and slowly lowered down to the ground. Once we landed I dipped the dwarf down and caught a rose from the Lioness. The crowd cheered and stood up. The applause echoed through the night and our show ended.

The preformers and I headed to were we would meet fans. A little girl ran up to me and clapped her hands. She was in a fancy white dress with a feather belt. She had on a little white tiara that had little gems on it. I greeted her in a formal way and bent down to her level.

"Can I touch your wings?" She asked excited.

"Of course, these are the soft ones." I spoke softly and put my wings out for her.

She reached out to feel it and smiled. "So cool! What kind of wings are these?" She asked.

"Raven wings, deary. I found out when I got here." I replied.

Her smile widened. "Amazing! I wish I had wings!" She exclaimed.

I pat her head and smiled. "Maybe in your next life dear." I spoke.

My name was called so I stood up. The little girl hugged my legs and ran back over to her parents. I smiled and went to cheetah. He pointed at a basket that had just arrived.

"Can you check what's in there? The rest of us are a bit busy." He asked.

"Sure thing!" I replied.

I went over to the basket and opened it up. There was a note inside along with a bottle of katchup, mustard, and honey. There were a few other items but what caught my eye was what the note was written in. My eyes widened as I recognize the language. My father had taught me about it. It was wingdings. The note read; "The adventure has begun." The world around me looked like it was glitching. My head started to spin as I heard distant voices call my real name. My clothes changed to my regular black jeans and (f/c) hoodie. My feet touched the ground but I lost my balance and fell over. I groaned and sat up. Looking around I see snow and trees. I immediately stood up before my clothes could get wet. My wings had a bit of snow on them so I wiped it off. There were voices in the distance. One sounded deep and lazy, while the other was a little higher and more energetic. I walked out to see two skeletons. One look at them made me faint.
