Yeji realized that she was went a bit too far.

"Ahh sorry", she apologizes awkwardly to him with a bow.

She puts the money on his palm and quickly left the convenience store.

In her room she couldn't stop looking at the picture with her and the Little Boy who looked just like Hyunjin as toddlers in it, Kim Hyunyoo und her father.

What kind of relationship did she have with the two of them?

Unfortunately, Yeji couldn't remember anything before she went to elementary school, according to her father she got amnesia after a car accident with him and that's also where she got the burn scar on her right wrist from

"Lia you just go ahead. I have to do something" Yeji apologizes to Lia, who were on their way to the school canteen.

Lia nodded and went there first.

Yeji ran past Hyunjin and without his friends around him noticing, she threw a small sheet of paper on his lap.

Hyunjin was confused when he noticed the little paper on his lap and opened it.

Hyunjin sighed and apologized briefly to his friends and went to Yeji, who had already been waiting for him on the rooftop.

Without saying anything, she just handed him the picture of the two her and the other toddler boy, Kim Hyunyoo, and her father.

Hyunjin was a little confused to why he was giving it to her.

"Look closely at the little boy" she requested to him.

He did as she said and was shocked when he recognized himself.

"Is that you?" Yeji asked and still confused he nodded.

"Yes, but where did you get that from" he asked, and she was about to answer when the school bell suddenly interrupted her.

They then simply agreed that they would meet somewhere quiet after school.

They went to the little caffe near their school. He then looked even more confused at the other pictures she gave him, that she'd took secretly from her father's office.

"I found these pictures in my father's workspace. Is this your mother?" she asked him pointing at Mrs. Kim Hyunyoos face.

"As far as I know it's not. But wait, this is not your mother," he asked her in shock, and she shakes her head.

She held the Polaroids from the woman and held it next to Hyunjin's face.

"This woman looks like cut out of your face! Only the nose is different. So, I thought she was your mom. This why I asked you the other day about your Mom. Remember. By the way sorry about that again" she tells him and apologized again for her inappropriated behavior the other day.

She looked at him as he had started to laugh.

But something about his laugh felt...sad.

Hyunjin couldn't believe it. This woman in the picture could be his mother.

"I can't help you much because I don't remember anything from my preschool time. But it is possible that this woman is my mother because I recently found out that I am ... adopted," he explains to her.

Yeji now understood why he was so angry at her the other day. Finding out the truth must have been tough on him.

"Do you have a twin? Because clearly that woman gave birth to two children. So the chance of her being your mother rises from 40% to 60%" she pointed at the picture of the two adults holding two newborns in a hospital but he shook his head.

There was the a long silent in which Yeji thought about something deeply while Hyunjin just started to humming something.

"Hey, do you want to know who your real mother is?" she asked him.

Hyunjin nodded hesitantly. There were many questions he wanted to ask her.

He looked again at the hospital photo. A slight smile forms on his lips at the thought that he might even have a twin somewhere out there if that woman really was his mother.

"Ok since I'm also really curious who she is and why my dad has pictures of her...I'm going to help you" she smiled at him and held him her hand out.

"W-Well ok..." Hyunjin had no reason to not agree to her offer and shook her hand.
