Hyunjin arrived home from his part time job and saw his mother smoking cigarettes and drinking alcohol in the living room.
He went up to her and stared at her intensely until she stopped ignoring him and looked at him obliquely.
"Who are my real parents and why did they sell me to you?" He asked her getting directly to the point.
"Real parents? Don't make me laugh, I'm your real parent. I'm your mother and father" she laughed and took out her cigarette to let out the grey smelly smoke out of her mouth.
"But that's not what you told me a few days ago," he made her remember and formed his hands in a fist form.
Deeply he wished it all was just a lie and that she would prove that he was her real son. He didn't want to acknowledge the fact that he was given away.
That he wasn't wanted.
"Oh that?! Forget it quickly, "she laughed nervously.
"Eomma tell me the truth-"
Hyunjin flinched to the side as his mother throwed her alcohol bottle on towards his feet on the floor. The carpet was now full of shattered glass pieces and the liquor.
While looking he had his eyes shot out of shock his mom got up and smacked him on his right cheek, which left a slight red mark in his face.
"How much did you get to be with me" he asked his voice trembling trying to hold back his tears.
"Definitely not enough," she trampled her cigarette on the carpet and Suddenly she changed into her jacket and shoes.
Without saying any more she left the home.
Hyunjin just looked after her with wide eyes.
"Eomma ..." he muttered and knelt on the floor to collect all the glass pieces and the get off of the liquor and dust from the carpet and floor "why did they do that..."
Then a small tear landed on the carpet.

Yeji immediately ran to her room and turned on her laptop.
She had surfed the internet for a full 3 hours until she found something.
KOREAN DAILY NEWS FIRE AT ONE OF THE KIMS
On the afternoon of March 17th, 2006, the daughter of the famous Kim family's home caught fire. There were two children in the scene who suffered from bad burn injuries and are by the time still unconscious. There were also two maidens who survived the fire with just a few injuries and so did Mrs Kims husband Mr Hwang. But Mrs Kim herself is in a coma and for now it doesn't look too good for her.
The husband of the house was against an investment.

Yeji suddenly received a message from Hyunjin.

Hyunjin My mother refuses to tell me anything :(
Hyunjin But I found my birth certificate I was born at 10:38pm, which makes me 2 minutes older than you( ͡° ͜ʖ ͡°)
Hyunjin But don't worry I won't accept from you to call me oppa that would be cringe af (╯_╰)

Hyunjin's messages made Yeji laugh. She didn't know that he saw it that serious.
But seeing how close their birth times are to each other made it even more possible that they are twins.
Yeji ran downstairs to Ms.Nyugen who has been working for them as a maid since Yeji could remember. She was technically raising Yeji when her parents were busy. Yeji was in hopes that she would now something.
"Hey Mrs Nyugen since when do you work for us"
"For over a decade now. I think I started around November 2006", she answers her.
"And you don't know if there were any maids or servants before you who worked for my parents" Yeji asked but she shook her head.
Yeji had to find out who these employees were in the article. Unfortunately, there were no names. She wasn't even sure if it was her family. So she decided to look for the house and see if there was anyone around the neighborhood who knew about the owners of the burned house.

Hyunjin woke up in the middle of the night and wanted to go to the bathroom. However, when coming out from the bathroom hid behind the living room door when he overheard his mother talking to someone on the phone. It was kind of suspicious to him because his mother had no friends that she'd be able to talk to late in the night. He slightly opened the door and saw his mother nervously pacing back and forth across the living room.
"How did he find out that you are not his real mother ?!" a female voice shouted angrily from the other line.
"I-I really don't know. He just suddenly asked about his real parents. What should I do? " his mother asked in a trembling voice.
"It's all your fault! Make sure he doesn't finde out more than that. But if he does happen to finde out more you'll see what happens next to you," the woman threatened her and hung up.
Hyunjin immediately went back to his room.
He touched the left side of his chest where his heart was racing with fear.
What would happen if he found out who his parents were? His mother was great danger because of him.
