Barry, Nora, Cisco and Ralph were all powerless. Cicada's dagger had warped them over their powers and one by one Cicada went to take them down. Going after Ralph and Cisco first, easily overpowering them as they flung themselves at him. With one arm each, Cicada flipped them to the ground, stepping on Ralph's chest to get to Barry.

"You're done for, Flash." His gravel-like voice echoed through the empty warehouse.

All of them had been following a lead towards Cicada's true identity that turned out to be a trap set by Cicada himself. Caught by surprise and with no backup, it seemed like they were doomed.

Cicada stalked over to Barry who was gritting his teeth, refusing to back down. "We'll see about that." He coughed out before lunging for Cicada. Barry landed a punch to his right shoulder before being blown back by a small push to his shoulder. He skidded on the ground backwards, losing his balance for a moment, then going back to his original stance. As he was gathering his bearings, Cicada pushed forward. He swept at Barry's legs, only missing them by an inch. Barry, in turn, landed a punch and a kick to Cicada's chest. Cicada returned it with a powerful uppercut which launched Barry against the warehouse wall, sliding down to slump on the ground, barely conscious.

With shallowed breaths, Barry attempted to get up which only lead to him falling even further onto the cold, hard concrete.

Cicada stood over The Flash's groaning body, giving him a powerful kick to the side, eliciting a loud yelp of pain from the speedster. He leaned his leg back for another smooth kick, only for it to be grabbed and twisted, causing Cicada to flip mid air and onto the ground.

There stood Nora, seemingly forgotten by the busy villain. She momentarily paused to check on her father but it was more than enough time for Cicada to sweep her leg, making her stumble backwards. Which gave Cicada the opportunity to jump on his feet and swiftly deliver a firm punch to Nora's gut.

Cicada didn't stop there, giving Nora no time to catch her breath after getting the wind punched out of her. He landed a quick succession of punches to Nora's chest and face, finishing her off with a hard kick to the chest. Nora fell onto the floor, landing near her father. slowly losing conscious.

This was it, Barry thought, this was how it ended. They lost. "No, no, no, no, no!" He cried out, "It can't end like this!"

Cicada floated above Nora, his dagger in hand, the sound of his insect-like mask haunting the scene. He brought up his dagger, positioning it at Nora's heart. He took one look at The Flash and then raised his dagger, slamming it through the air down to Nora's helpless body.

No one saw her streak, no one heard her run, the only evidence of her being there was Cicada's body being shoved to the nearest wall before his dagger could make contact with Nora.

"Boo! Did ya flinch?" A voice giggled out.

A crimson and black suited body sped around Cicada's stuck position, an onslaught of punches punishing his every move. Cicada tried fighting back but it was no use, this speedster still had her speed. His dagger didn't affect her. The mysterious speedster moved him away from the wall, delivering a harsh blow to his jaw and then a rapid succession of superspeed punches to his abdomen. The force of the attack pushed Cicada far enough for him to jump through the ceiling of the warehouse and into the sky.

"Ah shit! Nora are you alright?" The voice called out again and then, in the dimly lit space of the warehouse, they saw her.

Her mask was a dark crimson with devil horns resting on her forehead, the mask hid her entire head leaving only her nose and mouth exposed. The rest of her suit was black, accents of dark grey on her shoulders and forearms, mirrored on her thighs and calves. Her knees were crimson, as were the Bo staffs in her hands that clamped together and then stuck onto her back. She pulled off her gloves, that were also dark grey, placing them on the ground next to Nora.
