At long last, 2020 is behind us. We've learned quite a lot from these past 12 months, both good and bad. Here, the Summer Zodiac Team wants to recognize just one good outcome that has set the long overdue trend for brighter futures: the recognition of diversity.
As the world becomes multi-cultural—or rather, as we begin to realize how multi-cultural it is—we've seen many writers take up their pens and begin to spread awareness of those cultures. Whether your main character is part of the LGBTQ or POC community, or even if you are a part of it and providing an authentic voice, every story you write contributes to the growing sentiment of acceptance and harmony across the globe.
Thus, we decided to host a special contest to celebrate the range of movements that have occurred presently and throughout history to promote the rights of a diverse world. We present to you the Diversity Awards 2021.
