Oblivious

"excuse me everyone!" Elsa excitedly said. Her friends looked at her in confusion. What made them even more confused was the fact that Elsa's hands were intertwined with tadashi's.

"what is it, els?" Jack asked. His heart started hurting when he saw tadashi with Elsa.

"Me and Tadashi are dating!" Elsa cheered. The others eyes went straight to the silver haired boy and the brunette girl. Everyone except Tadashi and Elsa knew that Jack and Honeylemon had a crush on The pair. Everyone started to feel bad for the two.

"C-congrats Elsa! and tadashi.... You guys look great together. anyways, my sister called and asked for my help, so i'll be going now." Jack faked a smile and left as soon as he finished his sentence.

"Jack! can you give me a ride back to the lab? I left something important there," Honeylemon quickly followed Jack.

"gosh, this could be bad." Astrid muttered to heather.

Elsa's heart started to ache when she saw Honey leaving with Jack. She didn't need to think about jack though, he should've been the last thing on her mind. But she just couldn't get rid of him.

The whole week Jack and Honey ignored Elsa and Tadashi. They didn't want to deal with the heartbreak that they were gonna face if they met the couple. Elsa and Tadashi were confused on why they were acting that way. They were too oblivious to see how hurt Honey and Jack is. Say it with me, they suck.

Anyway, this went on for about a month. Elsa was acting arrogant and Tadashi has just been showing off the fact that he had a girlfriend. Their friends kind if got tired of them. Elsa then decided she had enough of Jack ignoring her so she went up to him and confronted him.

"Okay look, if you have a problem with me just tell me, okay?!? All you've been doing is ignore me and for what!?!" Elsa started.

"Why are you acting this way? I didn't even do anything and you're acting like such a child." She laughed sarcastically.

Jack just looked at her, no traces of emotion on his face. He then turned away from her and started to walk away. Seeing this, Elsa got even more heated.

"Don't just walk away like that!" She stood in front of him.

"And? what do you want me to say?" He rolled his eyes.

"Tell me why the hell are you ignoring me!" She yelled at him.

"You want to know why?" He raised his eyebrow.

"Of course! yeah I wanna know why you're acting like a bitch," She said angrily.

"Oh how blind you've been." he chuckled.

"Excuse me?" She was slightly offended.

"All those years, and you still don't know how i feel." Jack looked up at the sky.

"what?" Elsa was confused.

"I loved you," He said out of nowhere.

Elsa just stood there. She was shocked to say the least. He liked her all along and here she was trying to get rid of her feelings by dating a guy she didn't like. How could she be this blind? She was there ever since they were little, she promised to always make him happy, and now here she is. The reason why he is so sad. But what made her heart ache even more was the fact that he said "loved" meaning it was all in the past.

"Loved...." She muttered.

"No." He said and she was confused. So he didn't love her?

"I love you." He said loud and clear.

"I love you, I cared for you, But you chose him." He said calmly.

"I don't blame you if you see imperfections in me, and I don't blame you if you dislike me for it. I know he's better for you, so i-" Jack took a big breath before finishing his sentence.

"I think we should end our friendship here." He finished his sentence with a heavy heart.

It felt like her world stopped turning. She couldn't believe what she was hearing. Was he really ending their friendship? and if he is, She couldn't afford to lose him.

"Y-you're kidding, right?" She stuttered, telling him that this wasn't funny but he simply shook his head.

"Why?" her eyes started to water up.

"I can't bear to look at you with someone else, see you happier with him than me. I know it sounds selfish, but it's true. It's better for me to move on in another city, where everything wouldn't remind me of you." He explained.

"Another city?!" She gasped.

"I love you. Please be happy for me," He smiled before turning away and running.

"Jack! Wait!" She yelled for him but he didn't look back. She tried to chase after him but he was nowhere to be seen. She cursed under her breath as she looked around. Tears were threatening to fall but she forced herself not to cry. She failed to comfort her friend who has been there for her since the beginning. She failed to notice how hurt he was, and now she might never see him again. She left from that place and called Anna. She explained everything, Anna only said, "Let him go, if he isn't happy here then it's better for him to leave. Understand his reasons, but if you still wanna go after him then its your choice."

Anna's words kept on repeating inside her head. "If he isn't happy here then it's better for him to leave." would he really be happier if he left everything here to go somewhere else? What about his family? What would they feel towards this news? Or do they already know? Elsa was nervous of how everyone would treat her once they knew the reason why he left. But then it hit her.

The reason he left.

All this time she kept on thinking what other people would think of her, what would happen to her, the pros and cons for her, how her life would be like, but not once has she ever thought about how her actions might affect others. She pretended to date Tadashi so that she would be able to get rid of her own feelings, she did it because she didn't want to regret it later in life, but she didn't think it would hurt Jack. He's leaving and all she thought about was how the others would look at her, but not how the others would react to Jack actually leaving.

"I'm such a mess," She muttered to herself.

After thinking she finally made up her mind. Maybe it's time to let him go, all this time he only stayed for her happiness, but if he really wasn't happy then leaving would be a good option. She wrote a long letter, apologizing for everything and how she has been acting. She gave it to his sister who knew where he was. Mary waited for Elsa to ask her where Jack was but was surprised when she only gave her a letter. She felt bad for Elsa and her brother but she didn't want to get into their business.

Maybe somewhere in the future, they'll be able to fix their friendship.

Aaahhhhh omg its been so long, happy new years y'all! i kind of lost motivation to write all throughout december. I wrote this just out of boredome so i'm sorry if its bad lol. This was inspired by a text thing i saw on yt about bkdk. It was a lyric prank with the song line without a hook, great song btw.
