1997

Elsa was holding her child, trying to calm her down. Her daughter was only two weeks old. She was trying her hardest not to cry herself. Her husband, Jack, was also trying his best to calm down. At that moment, they were hiding in a church. You're probably wondering, why? Well, a war between two tribes was accuring. Between the Ballem tribe and the Ploss tribe. The reason of the war was stupid, that I have to say.

A guy from the Ballem tribe broke up with a girl from the Ploss tribe. She got upset and ended up telling her people. Then the Ballem tribe beat up some people from the Ploss tribe and vice verca. This ended up being bigger than it should've been. Now Elsa and Jack were in a city where if they saw anyone from the Ballem tribe, they would immediately get executed.

"Jack," Elsa whispered, she was scared to talk. Jack turned around to face her.

"Would we be able to survive?" She tried not to burst in tears. Jack placed his arms around her to comfort her.

"You're the strongest woman I know, you'll be able to survive this," He brushed his hand through her hair.

"We just need to wait a little bit for the boat to arrive, after that we'll be able to leave. You'll be able to see your parents again," Jack smiled and she smiled back.

"I need to pack our things," He whispered and stood up. She looked scared and held onto his arm.

"I'll be fine, plus I don't even have a last name. The wouldn't know where I'm from," He assured her and left. She was still scared. Elsa's brother was the one that helped her from the situation, he is currently in the church with his wife.

Earlier converstion

Elsa's brother entered Elsa's home and almost felt like crying. His sister was living in small house, really small. In the house, there was only one bed and a little kitchen. That was all. The floor was dirt the walls were so thin that when it rains it almost feels like they were outside in the rain, it would be freezing. There was no bathroom, if they wanted to get water or shower, or do their business then they would have to walk very far.

"Elsa," He started.

"Let's go home," He smiled. She only stayed quiet, she was embarrassed about her living conditions, not being able to afford a lot.

"What's the use of living here? You could have a better life back home, there is no point to live here like this. Plus with your new born daughter, it'd be better for you to come back home," He hugged her. She cried and hugged him back.

"What about Jack's job?" Elsa asked.

"I'll find him another job, just please come back home," He pleaded and she nodded her head. She wanted the best for her daughter and she knows she wont be able to achieve that there. Leaving would be best.

End of conversation

The boat arrived and Elsa was escorted there. They all got on and Jack fortunately brought all of their stuff on the boat. With that, they left to Elsa's home town. Elsa felt relieved that she was finally out of there. They were safe and that's all that mattered.

After getting back home Elsa's brother bought her a house, it wasn't much but it definitely was a million times better than the one they used to live in. Elsa's brother talked to his boss and his boss happily accepted Jack to work there. Life was finally showing her kindness, her life was getting better although her brother had to move to another province.

Soon, she had 2 more children. Another girl and a boy. They were a happy family. They weren't the richest, but they had more than enough for them. They were grateful for Elsa's brother and always tried their best to repay everything that he had done for them.

But a couple of years later, Jack passed away. This broke Elsa. She thought life was finally being fair but then this happened. But even though it hurt, she was still trying her best to be there for her children. She worked hard to make sure her children would be able to go to school and work a stable job. Trying her best so that her children wouldn't go through what she had to go through.

And now, her eldest daughter has found a job. Her second daughter achieved a scholarship and is going to college in the province where her brother's family lives in. Her youngest son is trying his best in high school. And she is once again happy.

A/N

Hey guys. So this story is actually based off of a true story that happened to my aunt. She had to live such a hard life but i'm glad she is now happier, living a better life. My father helped her a lot, risking his own life for hers, which is why my father is such a hero. My aunt told him how much she is thankful of him and my mother for always helping her. The reason for the war between the tribes was stupid, so many people died because of that. But I'm glad that it's over and I hope that something like this would never happen to someone else.

My aunt is such a strong woman, she deserves all the happiness in the world.
