𝐭𝐰𝐞𝐧𝐭𝐲 𝐧𝐢𝐧𝐞

it's been 3 months since we've worked things out 

everything has been calm 

 we're both happy with one another 

you've gotten a lot happier 

i'm glad that you are slowly getting better 

it makes me happy 

its officially been six months since we've been dating 

so for our six month anniversary i decided to take you out on a date

the first thing we did was we went roller skating sine i remember you telling me you've never went roller skating before

then we went to the movies to watch a movie 

then the third thing we did was hang out at the amusement park till the sun was setting 

after that, we hung out at the park on the hill that gives you a view of the city from above 

i started playing me 'lets dance under the stars playlist' on my speaker

the first song to play was 'my sunshine'

i held your hand and pulled you up off the ground onto your feet

i put your arms around my neck

and put my hands on your waist 

"you are my sunshine my only sunshine

you make me happy when skies are gray"

we started to sway to the melody of the song

you looked up at me and smiled

i looked down at you and smiled

we placed our foreheads on one another's and starred into each others eyes 

"you'll never know dear how much i love you

please don't take my sunshine away"

you closed your eyes as you pulled me closer

and i held you tighter 

"the other night dear as i lay sleeping
