A LIFE THATS GOOD

Chapter 6

It's finally Friday school was so weird today all the seniors were talking about the oarty tonight and who they think might hookup and who is going to get drunk first. Sam and I walked to my house from school and when we got there we made some lunch and whatched some episodes of pretty little liars. It was about two hours before the party and i was just about getting in my comfort zone when Sam said we have to start getting ready with a sigh i got up and went to go shower while Sam took a bath."i have no idea what im going to do with my hair" said Sam.
"maybe you should just dry it and put some light curls in it will look amazing with your red dress" i said
"speaking of dresses did you decide on one yet?" she asked
"yes the white one and I'm taking my swimsuit with just incase you never know whats going to happen or how the vibe is going to be" i said
"thats great i liked the white one on you. The white makes your tanned skin stand out" she said
"yeah i guess" with a sigh she could see i wasn't too excited about going to the party. "Cas what's wrong this is your last term of school and you are looking very down when the rest of your peers are excited? She asked and frowning. She had no idea i had a crush on her brother and i was to chicken to tell her so i just gave a silly excuse." I am really excited but i just have a lot going on with school and dance classes, but I'll put that aside for tonight," i told her giving the best smile of my life. Somehow i knew she knew it was fake but she let me be clearly seeing that i didn't want ger to pry. Sam arranged with her brother to drop and pick us up even though i protested she still wouldn't listen. We decided to go to the party at 6 pm just incase we wanted to go for a swim. When Chase pulled up we were already standing outside the door waiting for him. We climbed in and was on our way the party was about 30 minutes away so we sat in the car a while. Chase is torturing his sister about a date and kissing the boys normal brother and sister ways. I thought i saw him checking me out before we climbed in the car but it could've just been my imagination. The car ride went by quickly and when i looked again we were at the party. Chase said he had some friends staying on this side of town so he was going to visit them until he had to pick us up. We went inside and greeted everyone about an hour later we only got to sit down and relax it was more Sam pulling me to greet people i had friends but not as much as what she had. "so what about something to drink" she asked with a broad smile. "okay I'll just have a beer" i said trying to sound hyped.
A few beers and a couple of shots later we were dancing to Jason Derulo's song Swolla and i could feel I was starting to get drunk one of the boys came over to talk to me and I tried to be polite and say no when he iffered a drink. "come on I'll get you a drink and then you and I can go sit somewhere secluded and have a conversation" he dipped his head lower and stretched out the conversation part. I really wasn't into him. "no thank you im good here" i said. This guy clearly couldn't take a hint. "I see you alwaysbact like you're better than everyone else guys don't even want to talk to you because you are so intimidating, look at me i come around to you being nice and you shoot me down, you're just a stuckup rich bitch" he said it and there were people starting to stare because they could hear the whole conversation. I didn't want to make more of a scene, I looked around to see if I can find Sam, but she was nowhere to be found. I took one last look around and then i went to go sit outside by the lake luckily for me it was almost secluded most of the people were drunk and inside where the vibe was. I sat for a while outside and then decided that i wasn't going to ruin everyone's night i would just uber home. I quickly took out my phone and texted Sam to let her know
Hey Sam I'm going to take a uber home I don't feel so well I'll let you know when i get home and I'll see you tomorrow xx.
I figured she wasn't going to hear her ohone but as long as i did let her know she can't give me her death stare tomorrow when i see her. I decided to text Chase just incase he was going to be worried that we weren't together.
Hi Chase it's Cassie im going to take a uber home i don't feel so well i did let Sam know but just incase she gets worried or something thank you for dropping us.
It was almost as though he was waiting for my text to come through cause my message just went through and he had send one back.
I won't let you uber home I'll be there in 5 min. My heart gave a little flutter with his words running through my head. I just put my phone away and then Chase stopped right next to me i guess his friend was living close by. "You really didn't have to.... I was still busy talking  when he came around and kissed me.
