A LIFE THATS GOOD

Chapter 7

The kiss was a big surprise to me and i wasn't sure if i should push him away or pull him closer his lips was so soft and tender, and i could smell is deodorant it smelled like the woods and oak it was a very nice smell. I didn't know what to do, before things got too heated i pushed him away.
"what are you doing?" i asked making my voice sound suprised even though i really wanted to kiss him again.
"I've wanted to do that for a while" he said with a cocky attitude and a smirk on his face. god he was so damn sexy.
"well it won't happen again you're my best friends brother" i said acting angry i still gave him a cute smile. I climbed into the car and just stayed silent. "if you don't mind we are going back to my friend Zack's house till my sister calls to pick her up" he said with a smile.
"sure i don't mind waiting you are doing me a favour" i said sheepishly.
"are you going to tell me why you decided to leave the party early?" he asked, and i could see the worry in his eye so i decided to tell him what happened. "after he called me names, that everyone could hear i just decided to leave" i said after telling him the whole story.
"Cassie why didn't you tell me that guy needs to be thaught a lesson" he said. "i didn't want to bring anymore attention to myself besides that he was probably drunk" i said trying to sound neutral. The rest of the ride we were sitting in silence. Then we pulled over by his friends house.
"wow this is a really nice house" i said with awe. The house was double story made out of bricks but had grey bricks instead of your usuall red bricks and it was on the lakes edge it looked spectacular. "yeah Zack and i have been friends since high school hes one of my best friends" he said and i could see all the emotion in his eyes. We walked up to the door and i felt a little imbarresed hanging out with my bff's brother and his friend but i decided to just keep to myself.
"welcome back bro" said Zack. I almost gasped out loud Zack was so sexy with his black hair and blue eyes and a slight stubble on his chin, he was wearing a pair of jeans that fitted perfectly and you could see his ass, he was wearing a slim fitted black polo sweater and you could see his tonned body through his shirt. I felt a little of a pinch on my arm and Chase was trying to get my attention, they caught me gawking and i felt a blush kreep up my face.
"Hi I am Cassie" i said to Zack not wanting him to think that i was a creep.
"Hi Cassie I've heard alot about you Its nice to finally put a face to the beautiful name" he said with a huge smile and his teeth was perfectly straight and white. I started to blush again at the complement. He invited us inside,for a while i didnt have much to say so i just listened how they were talking about boy stuff like football and boxing. I was starting to regret not ubering i could've been on my couch watching PLL in my pjs with a pizza. At the thought of pizza my stomach started to growl and i realized i haven't eaten anything since this afternoon. The boys must've heard because they both started staring at me.
"Cassie when was the last time you ate" Chase asked.
"umm earlier today" i replied feeling slightly embarrassed.
"well there is food here but if you feel for take out someone has to drive to pick it up" Zack said.
"I could really munch a pizza right about now" i said with a smile. I don't know if there's something on my face because both guys are staring at me.
"is there something on my face" i asked. "No i think we're both just surprised that you want pizza, most girls would eat a salad or something small infront of guys" Chase answered with a smug. "yeah well im not most girls, pizza is the best whomever invented it deserves a noble prize"i said with laughter in my voice.
" pizza it is then I'll call pizza hut and order"Chase said. After phoning to order our pizza they said it would be finished in 15 minutes so Chase decided to drive immediately.
" Cas I'm just going to pick up the pizzas you should be safe here with Zack he's a sweetheart" he said with amusement playing in his eyes.
"oh fuck off" Zack said with a smile. I was abit dazed but i guess they joke like that. Zack then turned to me after Chase left and asked me a few quistions about myself.
"I'm guessing you are 17 or 18 years old?" he asked me with a serious face.
"im 18 and by the way Chase was talking you are 21 or 22 years old right?" he seemed amused that i said Chase was telling me about him.
"im 21 can i use your phone quickly please" he asked. I gave him my phone not understanding why he can't use his own. A minute later he gave it back. Chase came back with one huwaiin and one pepperoni pizza and we all dug in.
"Chase how much was the pizzas let me pay you back for them" i asked.
"it's all good Cas i got this" he said with a smile. "c'mon it's only fair i was the one who suggested we get pizza's" i said with a serious face.
"its my treat you can get the the food next time we hang" he said and i knew i needed to leave it there, he had a straight face and i could see he was getting agitated. A while later Chase got a text from Sam to pick her up so we left and picked her up. The drive home was silent and i could see Sam had a little too much to drink so i suggested she sleep over at my house mostly to hide the drunkness  away from her parents, they would freak if they knew we were drinking. Chase dropped us off by my house and had to help me carry Sam in she was so tipsy stumbling out of the car.
"Cas iiii luvve you sooo much" she said slurring her words. I felt guilty leaving her alone at the party.
"i love you too Sam" i said with a smile holding back my laughter. I invited Chase in to have coffee with us its the least i could do since he was our chauffeur tonight.
"how do you like your coffee" i asked
"black one sugar and one creme" he said his voice sounding  hoarse, i could see he was tired.
After i gave him coffee he left and i had to take care of Sam knowing she is going to have a hangover tomorrow i gave her a glass of water and put her in my bed i let her sleep in her dress scared if i move her she might just puke on my bed.
It was 2 am and then i heard my phone beeping.
Hi its Zack hope you got home safely. Thats why he took my phone. I smiled when i saw the name he put witb his number 'sexy beast' i almost broke out in laughter but had to keep it in since i didn't want to wake Sam.
