A LIFE THATS GOOD

Chapter 11

"Chase what are you doing" i said with a serious tone. "a hi chase how are you would be nice, but i saw you sitting here so i wanted to come say hi." he said with a smile. "sorry about that you just took me by surprise i didn't know you were at the party." i said. "yeah well it's my friends part so i can't not show, did Zack invite you? He asked looking abit glim." no i actually had no idea it was his party untill i got here, maybe Sam over heard a conversation you had about it and decided we should come "i say with a smile." well either way im glad to see you, do you maybe want to come take a walk to the lake with me "he asked with a smile." okay but we can't be too long im looking out for Sam". I said exaggerated. He reaches out a hand for me to helo me up and i take it gracefully. The walk to the lake is in silent and its starting to become awkward, but i dont know what to say so i keep quiet. We get to the lake and find a bench to sit on i go sit on the side so i can watch the water and then i see Chase coming to sit right next to me. The silence is still going on, i have now focused on how beautiful the moon looks over the water with a reflection of the moon on the water and the starts is as bright as ever. "what are you thinking of Cas." he asked looking concerned. I almost hoped out of the bench with him making the conversation. "just how cool the moon and water looks, what about you.",i asked with a smile. "i was thinking how beautiful you look tonight under the moonlight it's even better." he said with a smile. I feel a blush starting to creep up and I'm lucky it's dark outside. "Chase we spoke about this." i said seriously. "no Cas you spoke you never gave me thr opportunity to say anything." he said with frustration. "okay Chase i will hear yoou out" i said with equil frustration. "you say we can't date, because of Sam but im pretty sure if we tell her then she won't mind." he says with a small smile. " you don't know?."i said looking a little sad. If he really doesn't know why we can't date he really is oblivious." know what Cas"he asked. "the reason why i won't date you is because Sam is my best friend and you are her brother, all our lives girls have been fake friends with her just trying to get close to you, they were just using her to get to you." i said sadly. "you are different Cas you don't use her to get to me." he says with a small smile. "that's exactly why we can't date, because she will be more hurt by me and you dating than just some rando who betrays her." i say a little bit upset because he doesn't get it. We sit in silence again for a while before Chase speaks again.
"i understand what you are saying Cas, but i don't know about you, but i can't get you out of my mind and you know how they say that you should get it out of your system then you'll stop thinking about it." he says looking a bit dazed. "so what are you saying you want to do something to get me off your mind." i asked pensivly. "exactly Cas i want to kiss you." he says a little uncertain. Before i can answer i feel Chase's lips on mine. The kiss starts off slow and soft but once i lean in a little and wrap my hands around his neck he starts kissing me hard and it's like electricity surging through our boddies. I melt into the kiss and forget about everything around us. The kiss grows and i feel his hands exploring over my body, i use my hands and run them over his arms and stomach feeling his rock hard abs. I climb onto his lap so i can be closer to him. Then reality seeps in and i pull away from him moving off of his lap. "i have to go." i stand up quickly and run back to Zacks house. I hear Chase running after me yelling my name and for me to stop but i just keep  running. When i get to the backyard of Zacks house i don't see Sam where i left her, i rush into the house and she is nowhere to be found. I go back outside and walk right into Zack, loosing my balance i start falling backwards and he catches me, as he catches me just before i touch the ground he leans down and starts kissing me. I immediately pull away and regain my balance. "zack what are you doing"? i asked shockingly. "don't play so hard to get i know you want me." he says sluring a little, he's obviously drunk. "Zack we went on one date, it wasn't that great, you are kind of boring actually" i said confidintly. I see some people starting to look at me and i feel myself starting to blush. I look around and catch Chase looking at me and then turning around heading inside the house. "i run after him and finally catch up to hin." chase wait "i say to him." cassie i think I've seen enough if you want to be with Zack just tell me "he says with a sad smile." you clearly didn't hear me shitting him out for kissing me did you? I ask with a smile. "no i didn't i just saw him kiss you and everything went blank." he says with a half laugh. "well Zack is a sweet guy but we didn't have a connection at all" i say awkwardly. "anyway i have to go look for Sam, I'll see you around Chase" i give him a last smile and turn around and head upstairs to go looking for Sam. I check all the bedrooms and i still can't find her i go inside the bathroom but she's not there either. I take my phone out and send her a text Sam where are you i have looked everywhere for you.
I put my phone away and decide to go look outside again. Heading down stairs i see Sam busy dancing my heart gives a little leap of joy i was a bit worried. "Sam where were you i was worried about you?" i ask her with a little anger and relief at the same time. "hey hi hey Cassie i was upstairs with that guy." she says totally wasted. "okay this is not the right time or place to have this conversation" i tell her with a small smile. I don't even want to think about what she just said to me. Our song starts to play and i feel Sam tucking on my arm to come dance with her, i give in to her because it's such an awesome dance that we made up on this song. We start dancing and everyone moves off the dance floor for us to have more space, you woukd think that the people would continue with their dancing instead everyone's eyes is on us. This is even more nerve wrecking than making youtube videos. When the song is done playing the guy Sam was with came back to dance with her and i move out of the way. I go chill on the couch and then this guy comes up to me, he is kind of dark and misterious with his black hair and his sea blue eyes and a black leather jacket, everything about this guy screams danger and i find myself a little intrigued. "hi you were pretty good out there"he says with a smile." thank you "i say shyly." what's your name? “he asks with a grin "its Cassandra but please call me Cassie" i say with a small smile. "well Cassandra iam Dean." he says slowly moving closer to me and whispering something in my ear. "you are gorgeous mind giving me your number" he says his warm hot breath tingling my skin.
