Part 13

Reader-Chan Pov 

I was dragging Sasuke behind me as we finally arrived at the carnival. This is the time to hang out, probably for a while, i think looking back at Sasuke very annoyed face as he saw where we were.

"Here?" he said to me. 

"What do you consider fun besides here?" i ask him brightly.

"Literally anywhere." he says low but i catch it.

i roll my eyes and pull him to the ticket booth.

"Two adult tickets" i say to the women behind the stand. 

She grabs two wrist bands "That'll be 21, seventy ei-" but she cuts off as  she looks at Sasuke. 

I stare there waiting with 25 dollars in my hand, but she doesnt dudge. 

I clear my throat to get her attention. 

She looks at me disgusted and hands me the wrist bands as i give her the money. "Keep the change" i said, but as i walked away pulling Sasuke once again i added loudly "yah filthy animal." (Home alone -anyone?)

I dont look back at Sasuke as i say that. i dont want to know what he was thinking about what i said.

I stop once we get on the line for our first ride and hand Sasuke his wrist band. He puts his on and i put mines. 

He looks at me for a minute and when i finally look at him back he was already looking away. Was he ever looking or was that my imagination?

"Those rides where so awesome." I say loudly as people around us are laughing and having a good time, much like i am. Its night time now and i just got of the most insane ride ever.

"You through up after the last one.," Sasuke argues with me. 

I roll my eyes. "Sasukee, that's what makes it so much fun. It went all circle, circle, down, up, turn, down, and whoosh, bam, straight into the water. Awesomeness." I say adding the dramatics. 

Sasuke now rolls his eyes. "Awe come on, tell me you had a lil fun Sas-pook" i tease him.

His eye twitches and he doesnt respond to me. 

I think for a second, while were walking to nowhere in particular. I've been here before so where should i take Sasuke, somewhere he can actually enjoy himself. 

I know Sasuke enjoys the quiet, so this isn't the place i would say is the best, i then remember when i was traveling there was a close by river patch. 

So i once again grab the boys arm and pull him, "Where are we going now?"Sasuke asks from behind me, annoyance dripping from his voice.

"Just follow me." I say not answering his question.

He grunts behind me but obeys, getting pulled.

Once we make it i sit down, releasing Sasuke.

He looks around and after a couple of minutes takes a seat too, leaving a giant space between us. 

I look around, listening to the night. 

The breath that kisses my pale skin, and makes my pink hair rise. My emerald eyes shut and i smile. This is what calm feels like. 

I then hear whimpering sounds, and rustles from the trees. Me and Sasuke rise fast, but silently and make our way careful toward the noise.

Sasuke stands behind a tree and me another one. He signals for me to make my presence known now and i nod and jump into the clearing, ready for battle, but all i saw was an injured dog, whimpering with a kunai in its leg. 

I ran to the dog and took off my gloves so I could use my medical ninjutsu to save the poor animal. My hands put a green glow on the injured leg as I slowly pull out the kunai.

The dog whimpers and cries in pain and I feel terrible but I had no choice if I wanted to save him. Once the kunai is out, i feel the leg to perfection and sasuke finally comes out from behind the tree to see whats happening

"What happened?" He asked as crouched down next to me to see the now healed animal.

"It was just a dog, it was hurt. Can i keep it?" I look at him with puppy eyes.

"N-"He started but i cut him off.

"Come on Sasuke, please? Let me keep him, Sasuke. I promise he wont be a bother and you can name him." I tried to persuade.

"I will say yes, if you shut up." he says annoyed.

"Yes." I cheer and put the dog down to give sasuke a surprise hug. He freezes for a while then pats me twice on the back. I take that as i sign to release him now, so i let him go with a big smile on my face.

"Bark Bark" The dog jumps and barks everywhere, healed and happy.

"Awee, who's a good puppy?" I pet the dog cutely and the dog shakes his tail.

The dog makes its way to sasuke and cuddles up next to him lovingly. I immediately get jealous as Sasuke pets MY dog.

"I was the one that saved your life yah know" i mumble jealously to the dog.

The dark barks at me again and i see Sasuke smirk too. My eyebrow twitches now and i inch closer too them.

"So what's his name?" I ask Sasuke.

 (you knew his name from when you healed him btw)

"How should I know, hes your dog." He says to me as he pets the puppy. 

"He's our dog. We both found him. Plus i said you could name him, so, a name, now." I push.

He rolls his eyes as he continues to pet the small puppy loving the affection from Sasuke, and shaking his furry tail.
