Part 18

Reader-Chan pov

Suigetsu and I stood up the rest of the night talking. It was pretty random, but I feel like we bonded, for real this time. Having an actual conversation for the first time since I joined Taka, or was just Hebi? it was one of them. (Taka)

The conversation lasted hours and hours, about previous missions, stories of the past, teammates they've had, the worst teammates they've had, exes, and somehow it glided toward Sasuke. Who he was a team leader to Suigetsu and me listening the whole time. 

Then the sun rose and Jugo started to wake. After that was Sasuke, Midori, then Suigetsu woke up Karin, who started a whole thing.

Sasuke looked at me as I was sitting on suigetsu's sleeping bag, and I looked at him. I couldn't tell the face he had on, but it was far from emotionless, but then in flash he was on his feet, emotionless mask on, once again.

We start packing up and head out once again, Sasuke putting Midori on his shoulder instead of giving him to me.

I didn't say anything about Midori but Sasuke seemed to be going faster this time we traveled . Or at least every time I catch up to him. 

When I finally catch up to him, he tried going faster but I stayed on him. "Hey what the hell?" I ask him.

"What?" He asks me rudely.

"Why are you avoiding me?" I ask him frustrated.

"If you hadn't noticed, we're currently on the move, I'm just getting us there." He lied to me.

"Why are you going faster when I come up to you then?" I try to catch him.

"Not my fault you can't keep up." He catches me instead and tries to hurry away and loose me again. 

I push myself using my toes on the tree branches for a little extra fly and aim myself for his back. Once I release from the tree I through myself onto his back and wrap my legs around his waist as he stumbles completely shocked.

"What the hell do you think your doing?" He yells at me.

"Come on Sasuke, give me a piggy bag wide" I whine like a baby. 

He clicks his tongue but otherwise doesn't refuse and I wrap my arms lightly around his neck after placing Midori on my head, safely. (Like how Kiba does it)

Sasuke grabs my legs to keep me sturdy on his back and I smile, knowing he really wasn't avoiding me. He was probably just trying to get to the place faster.

"So why where you in Suigetsu's sleeping bag?" Sasuke asks out of the blue.

"I wasn't in it. I was sitting on his sleeping bag." I clear and I can practically feel his eye roll. "Plus, I woke up early in the morning, or really late at night and we ended up talking." 

"That's it?" He pushed.

I laughed. "Yeah Sasuke, that's it. Why?" I asked him curiously.

He shakes his head when it comes to me. I smirk "Sasukee" I drag.

"Hn." He says suspiciousness rising in his voice.

"Are you jelly?" Midori barks and i laugh as Sasuke shakes his head but has no words.

"No but I was worried." I stop laughing and listen now.

"Why?" I ask him.

"You were sitting next to me the last time I saw you. Then you were gone. On the other side of camp." He explained, and I finally saw it his way. 

He was worried because I wasn't close by, he must have thought of being worried as weird for him and probably didn't want to talk for a bit. A least he finally sees he has friends.

Then something happens. Karin catches up to us and of course starts complaining.

"Why are you on Sasuke? He can't keep going much longer if you put all of your  weight on him like that." She insulted me and I was really about to jump of Sasuke and kick her out of this dimension but Sasuke spoke up.

"It's none of your business Karin. I offered, now goodbye." I said to her and she pouted and made noises at she slowed down and we where ahead of her once again. 

He almost tripped of the tree really quickly when Sasuke  almost completely missteps but ends up catching himself. 

The only thing was his hand tightened but now it was on my higher thigh. 

I knew his hand was always on my thigh, and because today I decided to wear short shorts since we were traveling long I could feel his hands on my skin, but this feeling I got was something much more intense. 

As we kept on going his hand hadn't moved back down my leg to where it was previously. But then it did move. 

Up.

I felt him just graze my ass and then go back down to where it was before. 

I didn't say anything for I was frozen but my mind was spiraling.
