Part 17

Reader-Chan's POV

My eyes open and I realize my head is on Sasukes shoulder. I slowly get up and see Sasukes head leaned back against the tree as he was peaceful emerged in his dream.

It was still nighttime as I looked at the sky and saw purples and blues dancing across the midnight sky. I smile and move some of Sasukes hair out his face as wind passes us by. 

He moves in the slightest but doesn't wake up. "Oh so I'm not alone." I jump at the sudden voice in the darkness speaks.

I look around until I spot Suigetsu, sitting in his sleeping bag. I breath and stand up, walking over to him, when I sit down next to him.

"You scared the shit outta me dummy." I whisper to him and he chuckled lowly.

"How you holdin up?" He asks me.

"Good. You?" 

"I was born fine. Cant you tell?" He smirked at me and I laughed at his joke.

"Your pup, what you going to do with him?" He ask me now.

"What do you mean?" 

"Give him to a family, make him a ninja dog, protect him when on missions? What are you going to do with the pup- what's his name by the way?" 

"Midori is going to become a ninja dog." I answer his questions.

"Midori, why name him that?" Suigetsu wondered out loud. "I mean it's great, but why?" 

"I don't know, Sasuke named him," I admit. "Pretty random right?"

"Right" Suigetsu agreed hesitantly. 

And (name) smiled as she looked over at Midori in Sasukes lap, comfortable and sleepy sounding alike his owner.

Although, Suigetsu knew the real reason why Sasuke named the pup Midori once he heard what (name) had said. It was obvious the pup was named after (name's) beautiful green eyes. 

It also exposed what Sasuke was thinking about when he was naming the dog. Although Suigetsu couldn't quite put his figure on why (name) hadn't known this already.
