A/N: Alright boys and girls, let's get into the trenches. Before I start though,) 1. My good friend GrapeDerToten has been thinking about making his own fanfiction, so if he does, you should read it whenever you get bored of mine, hehe. Alright, let's get to it. (Remember, this is not my art.)
-Start of Story-
-Location: Briefing Room: Hereford Base, England.-
-1600 Hours-
-Troy's POV-
Harry: So, everybody is here. Let's get down to business.
The room was filled with every operator and Rainbow personnel a person could think of. I looked around from my secluded corner of the room, looking at the variety of operators in the room. Everybody's had their attention focused on Six, as he was ready to give us the details of the mission.
Harry: If we can pull this operation off, it can deal a crippling blow to the White Mask, so I need you all on your best behavior and follow your team leader's orders.
He says with a chuckle, the rest of the room chuckling with him. Harry's ability to calm down a large group of people in the most nerve-racking of situations is nothing short of legendary, it could be his knowledge of the human mind, or that he's just good socially. The room goes silent, waiting on Harry to speak first.
Harry: I'm sure you're all aware that this is one of the most important operations that we have ever had, this must be a complete success, no 50%, no 75%, It must be 100% complete or else it won't have the effect on the terrorists that we would like it to have.
Everybody in the room nods, understanding the gravity of the situation.
Harry: We'll need to split into two large teams, The operators with defensive specialties will take over an important White Mask data facility, while the operators with offensive specialties will take and destroy their R&D Facility. If we can take these both, we're cutting their hands off, immobilizing them for a while. I'm sure their appearance has annoyed you on many occasions.
Lion: You got that right!
Lion's outburst comes with mutters of agreement, echoing across the room. Harry clears his throat, silencing the room.
Harry: The two team leaders I'm picking for the offensive and defensive groups are Zero and Vigil. May God bless you all on your missions, let's get to work, Blinding Phoenix starts now.
He steps off the stage and walks out the door. Everybody exits the briefing room with haste, making me follow the large jogging crowd. The halls are filled with voices and the shuffling of combat boots and sneakers, everybody running to their lockers in the armory, snatching their weapons, equipment, and body gear, and running outside. I grab my recon gear, with my Suppressed Subsonic .308, dual suppressed FN Five-Sevens and suppressed Kriss Vector. I bump into the shoulder of Vigil, making him look over at me, smile, and pat me on the shoulder.
Chul: Good luck out there, Troy.
I smile back and pat him on the shoulder in return.
Troy: You as well, Chul, don't get hit out there.
He chuckles.
Chul: As with you.
After our exchange of good lucks we both pass each other and reach our respective groups, Vigil on the defensive team, and myself on the attacking team. The defending team walked towards the exit, entering their trucks that were waiting on their arrival outside. Zero walked in front of the group and snapped to get our attention.
