A/N: Hey everybody, hope you've been having a good time. As you have noticed, this chapter is the beginning of the Second Arc. The First Arc of the book was focused on comedy and the group of friends (All the original characters) That Troy had and how their group worked. Decided to make the book a bit more serious (Don't worry, the comedy [If you can call it that] effect of the book isn't completely gone) and now the chapters will explore more of how Troy acts after Taina's betrayal. (Art does not belong to me, in fact, nothing I post belongs to me, credit goes to their respective and rightful owners)

-1100 hours (Day after the battle)-
-Troy's POV-
I groan and roll around my bed, enjoying the comforting sleep I haven't gotten for what feels like forever. This is the first time of sleep I've had where I haven't had a nightmare about Taina, and her betrayal, it's been torture to my mind. The nightmare has also taught me that I shouldn't trust and love so easily. My alarm clock goes off, and I ponder the idea of hitting snooze for the 25th time, but I decide to listen to its calls and get up. I freshen up and put on some clothes, mainly a hoodie and some sweats with sneakers, and turn off my annoying alarm clock. I open the door and jog towards the mess-hall for lunch-time and find an armada of operators swarming around the large room, a handful sitting around each table like toddlers in Kindergarten. I grab my food and sit at one of the larger tables with Mute, Mozzie, Vigil, Jager and Bandit, and the SEALs (Including Edge).
Mozzie: Glad you could join us, mate!
Jager: Agreed
Mute simply waves while Vigil simply uncrosses his arms and gives me a welcoming nod. The SEALs look over at me and each member gives me a greeting. I pick at my food and eat, my body performing every action rather slowly.
Spark: Wire is almost done with the interrogations, after she's finished, you can go visit Taina.
Troy: I'm not visiting her anymore.
I say in a stoic tone, grabbing the attention of everyone at the table.
Troy: No need in trying to help her acquire the gift known as common sense.
Vigil: Understandable.
Dynamo: It's like trying to tell a baby to bench press.
Everybody now turns to Dynamo and looks at him, and he throws his arms up in the air innocently.
Dynamo: What? What did I say?
Spark: Have you ever done that before?
Dynamo: Hehe...Don't ask.
Spark looks over at me, then the SEALs with a questionable look, they nod as if responding to him. I look at him with curiosity as the SEALs all stand up, excluding Valkyrie and Blackbeard. He pats me on the shoulder.
Spark: SEALs want us back for a while, need the extra support for some missions.
Troy: Alright I'll get my stuff.
Spark: They want you to stay here, they just want us.
Troy: Us as in?
Spark: Me, Christian, Jay, and Jack.
I nod and pat him on the back.
Troy: Stay safe out there.
Spark: Same to you.
