Photo is of what Vera's hair looks like now, minus the weird blonde streak. The model is not Vera.

My head is resting on Mia's lap. She's caressing my hair. Suddenly a man comes and scoops me up, I panic. Mia reassures me that he's a friend. My back is hurting terribly. "Careful." Mia whispers. The man who's holding me nods. Suddenly there's another 5 men running down the hall. The man carrying me looks at Mia with a heartbreaking look. Then he runs with me in his arms, to a room with water coming out of a big gap in the wall. "NO! MIA!" I scream and try to hit the man carrying me, but my weakened self cannot do anything. When I see that we're going into the water and Mia's ditcher has turned into a merman, I mumble my sentence and I'm a mermaid again. He grabs my waist and pulls me to the surface, all the while I'm feebly flicking my tail.
When we reach the surface the man pulls me onto a stretch of sand, out of the freezing cold water. I lay on the sun-warmed sand. "We need to get Mia." I cough miserably. "I know. By the way, I'm Aislon." Aislon replies. He's searching the beach for a communication shell.

Finally Aislon finds one and is soon in contact with my mom. After about 5 minutes, which is impossible for that long trip, my mother steps out of the ocean, my mermaid sister Lyncoln and her merman boyfriend at her side. "How did you get here so quickly?" I rasp.
"Being a Changer also gets you access to speed powder, and ultraspeed powder." Waverly replies
My mother comes up to me and helps me roll over onto my stomach. She quickly treats my cuts and they feel better already. Next she replenishes my energy with some herbs she had in her satchel. "Nothing I can do to regrow you're hair... Sorry Vee."
My mother says, calling me her petty little nickname for me.

"That's fine, I'll get used to it." I say, trying to hide my disappointment. I liked having long hair. Nobody except the men have hair above their shoulders here, except for me.

"We need to get to Mia. Now." I suddenly remember. I change into a mermaid again and dive into the ocean. When underwater, my mom hands us all magnificent tridents she magically pulled from her satchel. As soon as they touch our hands, they change from silver to our tail colours. I feel pretty cool right now.
We all jet down to the hole in the wall again, and then we all transform back into humans with the help of Aislon and my mom's collections of magic balls and my mumbling. We run as a pretty cool group back to where I was almost tanked. Just in time too. The vampire and the werewolf man are lifting Mia over the tank, ready to drop her in and begin the procedure. Mia is screaming and crying. My mom epically throws her trident across the room and it hits the vampire square in the neck and sends him crashing, dead, onto the floor. The werewolf looks up in shock at us, still holding Mia. Mia takes this for advantage and squirms out of the werewolf's grip on her hips. She stumbles over to us, where Aislon and I help her regain herself. My mother still has that terrifying look in her eye and she snatches up my trident and vaults it at the werewolf, who was trying to get away. It hits him in the back and he falls to the ground, also dead.

My mother, still in badass mode, summons back the tridents, mine comes flying into my hand. My mother is the highest level mermaid, capable of some ancient Novaltyr Magic.

"You and Mia need to be alone now, if you are to complete the prophecy." My mother says, a slight tremble in her voice. She tosses Mia her trident, which takes the colour of Mia's tail at the touch. She also passes me her satchel. "If you need anything, just picture it and it will come to you. But only if it's an absolute necessary item will it come to you." My mother explains. I understand.
"Goodbye then, I'll see you at home tomorrow, good luck."
My mother says. And she leads everyone else back out of here, Aislon protesting that it's not fair that only we can stay and fight, that he wants to protect us.
"They don't need protecting anymore." My mother says, as she disappears through the hole.
