Zane went with the strange men because he felt as if he wouldn't be safe if he didn't.

The men took him to a room that was set up outside. Zane didn't see this on his way in. When he got inside he found that it had no windows. Only a big mirror.

What did Jay say these were, from those crime shows? Zane couldn't remember. He was told to sit, so he complied. Zane didn't feel safe.

"So," said a new voice. "What do you know about the events that took place here in Saturday?" The man who owned the voice sat down across from Zane with his fingers crossed.

"Other than the fact that it happened, I know little to nothing." Zane responded calmly.

"What's the boy's name?" The man sighed.

"Jay Walker." Zane knew Jay wasn't exactly registered, so he felt safe saying his friends name.

The man pointed toward the mirror and within 5 seconds sighed again.

"What exactly are you trying to pull on me?" He seemed irritated.

"I am not pulling anything sir." Zane stated confused.

The man stood up and pressed his fingertips on the table harshly. "Okay smartass. I want you to listen closely to my next few words. Pull some more shit like that and my guys in the back will tear you apart."

Zane didn't know why but he felt more scared now.

"Understood?" The man said harshly.

"Yes sir." Zane nodded.

"Well then, about this "Jay Walker". Why don't we have any information on him?"

"He's not registered at the city hall. He is real but he was taken in. Not necessarily adopted." Zane explained.

"Where does he live?"

"Why is this important? He is just a kid." Zane stated.

"Oh. He's much more than that. See your little friend caused that power jolt. He's what we like to call, dangerous if not contained."

Zane felt his body grow cold. Could Jay really be dangerous?

In the tunnels, Lloyd carefully led the others through the tunnels as to not get lost. Cole was simply amazed while Kai was still skeptical.

"So. How do we know you're not leading us to our doom?" Kai asked.

"Because you trust me." But Kai didn't trust Lloyd at all.

"He would've killed us already Kai. He wouldn't lead us through the traps, he'd lead us into the traps." Cole says as Lloyd stops them before a trap.

"This one's a little more difficult. Can you take a challenge Mr. Whiny?" Lloyd looked back at Kai.

Kai gasped softly, offended. "I-i can so take a challenge." His face reddened.

Lloyd and Cole laughed.

Kai didn't find it funny though. He felt all of his anger management therapy go down the drain as the two boys kept laughing.

Lloyd opened his eyes to see the torches on the walls glow brighter. Now he knew Kai was the fire elemental and his uncle had been right.

"It was just a joke. Guess I took it to far? Sorry." Lloyd said.

Kai unsquinted his eyes, confused.

Cole was confused as well.

"Plasma travels, or at least that's what my uncle told me." Lloyd spoke as he approached Kai. "That's why Jay was able to cause a momentary power outage. His element is stronger then we've ever thought. Just like yours."
