March 2014
The sun's rays hit my eyes making me groan in frustration from being disturbed from my deep slumber matched perfectly with the throbbing pain in my head. Adding more frustration to my already frustrated mind and body. Slowly, I open my eyes only to meet my very own white ceiling and a fan that had been doing its job since who knows when. My eyes snap open and I sit up erect on top of my not-so-soft bed making the surrounding swirl and me shutting my eyes tightly. Yes, drinking is good and fine, not until you wake up the next day like you're dying - and right now, I am.
Wait, how the hell did I even get here in my dorm last night?
I try my best to recall the events that happened the night before, but it always stops on the memory of me dancing like there's no tomorrow on the dance floor. Embarrassing. My stomach churns and I bolt out of the bed and into the bathroom to throw up my intestines. Hungover is never fancy, and I swear that I'll never drink too much again next time. It is just a good thing that today's a weekend, and I don't have any scheduled class for the whole morning. Though I still have to attend the club's practice since I am the next in-charge once Dim isn't around. With that fact alone, I can indulge myself underneath my warm blanket and carry-on with my sleeping session.
As I continue to picture my whole day alone, dipping in my bed even if it's not the best bed in the whole world - I am interrupted by the sound of knocking on my front door. I quickly splash water on my face to at least remove that dry drool. Gargle a bit of the mouthwash before finally making my way into the living room, enduring the spinning motion happening around me. I open the door wide and surprised to see Bright with that not-so-happy look on his face and I force a smile on him.
"Hi?"
"Hi, your ass! Who told you to go out and drink a lot last night, huh?!" Bright scoffs and motions me to step aside, which I do, and allow him full entry to my lovely dorm room.
Without anymore word coming from either of us, Bright proceeds to the kitchen and grabs two bowls from the cabinet to set on the table. And that's the only time that I noticed the bag that he is holding since earlier which I assume is food for us. I am just there at the doorway watching him closely and smiling internally like a total dumbass that I am for finding this gesture a bit on the sweet side since he doesn't do this. Bright takes out glasses from the drawer and a pitcher of cold water from my small fridge and sets it on the same table before turning his back on me to make himself a cup of coffee.
"Wait, do we still have milk?" Bright asks while opening the fridge. "When did we ran out of milk? Should've just brought one before coming here," he mumbles and closes it before looking at his plain black coffee.
"Do we still have creamers?" He asks me now and I shake my head. "I guess this is fine for today. Remind me to buy some later so I can drop it off here tonight, and we're running out of coffee, too," Bright continues as he makes his way into the drawers, checking the groceries and even the small pantry that we have.
