It's almost two in the afternoon when I decided to finally leave my best friend alone together with his girlfriend to look over the restaurant's operations. Besides, I don't want to be a third wheel if they start to get chummy with each other which is always the case. After waving them my goodbye, I shoulder my satchel and gives my thank you to the staff all the while walking towards the exit. Once outside, I momentarily stop in front of the door and inhales the fresh air around me, and enjoy the warmth of the sun shining so brightly. Sometimes, just being with nature is already a satisfying moment itself because it keeps me soothed and at peace. And I badly need that peace right now after that talk with Khaotung - and I hated how his words still linger into my mind and play in a loop. Shrugging away the impending regret of actually stepping into this place, I quickly make my way into the lot where the mobile is parked and fumbles my fingers inside my bag for the keys.

"Win!" A male's voice shouts for my name making me pause and turn around and is shocked to see a waving Luke running towards me. I just stand on the spot to wait for him, and I'm not even sure why he'd catch up with me since we're basically strangers.

"Luke," I say once he nears me and beams a genuine wide smile at him. He heaves and gives me a nod before scrunching his nose which I find - cute.

"Easy there cowboy, must be important? You were running after me, what can I help you with khun?" I express in a business tone and he shakes his head in amusement.

"Boss," he utters with a smirk. "You don't remember me, do you nong Win?" He asks and leans on my car making me do the same thing as I tried my best to recall when did I see him. I know that he looks familiar, but I am not entirely sure where and when did I see or meet him - especially because I've been working with a lot of personas for the past year due to my line of work.

I try and stare at his hands to see a ring, he could have been one of my clients but I remembered his bio stating that he's single - so, that option is out of the choices. Luke just stares at me with that fondness in his eyes while I look anywhere but his face, because I can feel my ears turning red being stared at that way.

"Hmm? I really can't remember if we've met before though," I mumbled just loud enough for him to hum in response. "I don't have a very good memory, so I apologize if I can't recall being acquainted with you. Uhm...can you tell me when did we meet?"

Luke chuckles lightly making me tug a small curl on my lips, even the way he giggles is adorable that his eyes almost disappear. Finally pulling himself together, Luke stares into space for a moment and starts tapping his fingers on the car door - a familiar tune. And because I have a bad memory, I don't also know what song is he trying to make out of while I stand there looking and listening intently. He then looks at me and starts to sing.

"Your hearts' a lead balloon, as you sink another one down. I know it numbs the way you feel, blurs what is right and what is real when there's no love left you can steal," he pauses and glances at me once again eliciting a slight nod. "For the joker laughs along and the jesters outsmarted. The gambler tries to win back what he's lost. And the sad man sings a song for the drunk and brokenhearted. And the fool never knows how much it costs," he carries on, and I lean on the car door just next to him as I hum along to the song because I can clearly remember that now.
