Attack on Haikyuu

The next morning, both Hinata and Kageyama woke up to train with the other cadets. They haven't been able to train for the last couple of days due to Hinata's injury and Kageyama's missions.

"You know, we have never really met in a proper way." Hinata said while kicking a rock ahead of him.

Kageyama hums in response as he looks at the shorter guy. They both stop when they heard someone calling their names. And to their surprise, it was Yamaguchi and Tsukishima.

"Oh? Tadashi. Is your ankle alright now?" Hinata asked as he looks at Yamaguchi's uncasted ankles.

Yamaguchi nods before walking besides Hinata. On the other hand, while the two friends are busy chit chatting. Tsukishima is making fun and teasing Kageyama as to pass time.

"I heard from the owls that you got knocked out after the battle with another titan." The four eyes said while looking at Kageyama with a smug look.

"It was the female titan's fault. She draws a lot of mindless titans to save herself." The raven head said. Tsukishima chuckles as he looks at Yamaguchi.

The four of them entered the training grounds, meeting up both Oikawa and Iwaizumi.

"Well, look who decided to show up. The oh so powerful Tobio Kageyama." Oikawa started as he eyes down the shorter lad.

Iwaizumi gave him a smack on the back of the head as they let the cadets in the gates.

Hinata was putting his bag down when he spotted Kenma sitting at the corner of the shed. His face covered with his hoodie.

"Tadashi, you go ahead and train. I'll just talk to Kenma." Hinata said to his friend before rushing to where Kenma is.

He was about to reach Kenma when suddenly a bunch of Nekoma guys blocked him.

"Hehehe, I saw that you've seen Kenma sleeping. You've been looking for him since yesterday, right?" Kuroo asked as he puts an arm over the orange head.

He told his guys to go outside, but Lev insisted and went with them towards Kenma.

"Y-Yeah. But he was nowhere to be seen. So I went to Shiratorizawa's outpost." Hinata said before stopping infront of the napping Kenma.

"Kenma was by the river side all day yesterday. That's why you haven't seen him." Lev said with a bright big smile.

A flashback of a guy in a hoodie walking out of the alley way was what Hinata remembered. So he was right. It was Kenma.

Kuroo told Lev to leave the two alone. Hinata looks at the napping boy's petite body, slowly reaching for his hoodie. When suddenly Kenma grab his wrist and pulled the hoodie of hi face instead.

"I thought it was one of the Johzenji guy this time. Shouyou, how are you?" Kenma asked as he lets go of the other boy's hand.

"I am fine. I was looking for you yesterday. But you where nowhere to be seen. And just now, Lev told me you were by the riverside all along." Hinata said with a pout.

Kenma lets out a sigh before staring off through the window infront of him. Hinata looks at him confused before looking at where Kenma was looking.

"Shouyou, let's go and train. I have a new technique to try." Kenma said before pulling Hinata with him outside the shed.

The two of them stood in the middle of the training grounds, surrounded by cadets who came from different forces.

"Will this hurt?" Hinata asked as he stood still. Kenma chuckles before shaking his head.

"Now, charge at me." Kenma said before putting on a stance.

Hinata sighs before running towards Kenma, only to be thrown up and down the dirt with Kenma locking his hand from the back.

"Ahk! Kenma!" Hinata exclaimed as he tries to escape the boy's grip. Kenma eventually let go while grinning at the orange head.

"I told you it wasn't painful." Kenma said to Hinata, as the other guy clutches his arm.

"Is that so? Will it work to me?" Kenma turns around to see Kageyama and Tsotomu standing beside each other, grinning as they watch the shorter guy.

Kenma sighs before pointing at Tsotomu Goshiki from Shiratorizawa.

"I'm gonna end this man's caree–" But before Tsotomu can even finish his sentence, Kenma already threw him on the ground.

Hinata rolls Tsotomu out of the way as the other two did a stand off.

Kageyama threw a wooden knife at Kenma, with the pudding head catching it.

"I know you're not familiar with weapons in a hand to hand combat." Kageyama said as he signals Kenma to come for him.

The pudding head sighs before charging at Kageyama. It was so fast that the raven head didn't had the time to react. All he knows is that Kenma was already pointing the wooden knife on his nape.

"Now, if I ever did this to you while you're in your titan form. I'm sure you'll beg me to let you go." Kenma whispered as he tightened the grip around Kageyama's neck.

The two were seperated by Oikawa and Yahaba, with Kenma slacking off the training after shooting Kageyama with a glare.

"Are you okay?" Hinata asked.

"That guy almost killed me! For the second time now." Kageyama said as he coughs due to the restraint he had earlier.
