Attack on Haikyuu

The following day, all the captains and their vice captains had gathered infront of the gate in Stohess district. Kageyama's position in this expedition is in the rear flank.

They disguised four people to look exactly like Kageyama and puts them on the every flank of the position.

"Are you really risking someone's life for this expedition?" Akaashi asked as he looks at the guy worriedly.

Bokuto laughs before nodding, telling his vice captain to relax and no one's gonna die in this expedition...hopefully.

"Let's go and capture the female titan!" Ushijima said as the others shouted, leaving the district and on their way to Trost.

"Oikawa, you lead the left flank. Daichi, you'll leadthe right flank. Bokuto, you're on the rear flank. Me and Kuroo will take the front flank. If it appears, lead it to where Daishō and Terushima had set the traps. Good luck." Ushijima said as he watches the other captain go to their assigned flanks.

"Captain, but what if the titan had learned that it is being lured into a trap?" Semi asked as they venture further into the fields.

"It's impossible. But if that happens, we'll proceed to plan B. Call Kageyama and let him fight the titan." He said as he focused on the mission.

Kuroo overheard their conversation, telling it to Yaku who also somewhat heard they are talking about.

On the left flank with Oikawa and Iwaizumi. They already had reached the titan forest where the female titan always hides and ambush them.

"Let's just hope that it won't come for us." Iwaizumi said as he saw how tensed his captain was.

Oikawa let's out a nervous chuckle before thanking Iwaizumi for his somewhat encouraging words.

On the rear flank, Bokuto can't keep his eyes away from their back since the said titan was sneaky.

Akaashi looks at him, reminiscing the day his mom died when the walls were breached by the colossal titan. Bokuto treated him as a family and let him developed into a strong soldier.

"Captain, if this is our last meet up. I just want to say thank you." He blurted out, which made Bokuto loose focus.

"Gaashi? What are you talking about? This won't be our last meet up." He said with a cheerful smile that always light up Akaashi's soul. He just love his captain so much.

On the right flank with Daichi and Sugawara. They are both looking around the area for some titan activities. There is none to report which made the two sigh in relief.

"Who could it be? If it uses a maneuvering gear, that means the female titan is among our batch of survey corps?" Sugawara said as he starts the conclusion and search for answers.

Daichi chuckles before looking at him. He knows Sugawara more than anyone else. That is why he already knew the lad was overthinking.

"Hey, don't think about it too much. We're going to capture the female titan." After Daichi said that, a gush of wind and a thunder was suddenly felt and heard by the survey corps.

Sugawara looks from behind, seeing the towering fifteen meter tall titan. Daichi also panicked and told the guy infront of him to fire a signal for the other groups to know.

When the signal was fired, Sugawara and Daichi both tighten their grasps on their gear as the female titan creeps closer.

Ushijima's group alongside Bokuto's saw the signal and decided to head towards the trap. Oikawa didn't seem to notice the signal because they are facing a much different problem.

"What the hell is that?!" Iwaizumi asked as he spotted a titan with white mane like hair and a boney face, swinging from tree to tree like a monkey.

"I don't know, but it seems like it is heading for the traps. Quick, we need to stop it before it reaches the trap." Oikawa said before chasing on the titan.

Daichi immidiately turns to the direction of the trap. He knows that they have fooled the titan into it's death as he saw how eager it chases the decoy Kageyama.

"Wait for it.." Daishō said as he heard the titan's footsteps.

When Daichi and Sugawara had passed the traps, the female titan stopped momentarily before Daishō fired the traps, capturing it.

The wires pierces through the skin and flesh of the said titan with the captains watching it fall on it's knees and down on the ground.

Ushijima went down from his horse, walking towards the titan. He looks at it with full of curiosity.

"Semi, sketch her out." He said before crouching down infront of the elusive female titan.

"So, you must be the female titan. I agree, you do look like some type of human controlled titan. Now tell me, who are you after?" He asked as he points the tip of his blade on it's eyes.

Kuroo was right behind the unprotected nape of the titan. When he tries to slice open the nape, it immidiately uses it's hardening ability to prevent any further damage.

"Everyone! Watch out!" Oikawa said from a far.

Ushijima looks at him from the distance, asking him to stop shouting. They have only noticed the problem when they spotted the maned titan clinging on a tree.

Everyone stood their in shocked as they saw how the titan looks. It is observing the female titan from up the tree.

"Ushiwaka, that is a human con-" Oikawa was cut off when the titan launches itself towards the traps, destroying it with it's sharp teeth and claws.

It also bites on the female titan's nape, taking the human inside it and escaping in just a second.

"Kageyama! Chase after them!" Kuroo said as he watches the titan swing from tree to tree.

"I can't. It's as agile as the female titan. From what I know, that is Marley's jaw titan." Everyone gasps as they felt disappointed from the fact that they didn't captured the titan. And the fact that there is another titan shifter lurking around the shadows.

"Another failed expedition." Semi mumbles as he looks at the sketch he made of the female titan.

Ushijima gritted his teeth, looking at the direction where the titan went.

"You can all go back now. Cure the injured. Let me be." He said as he starts walking away from the others.

The other captains respects him and left him alone in the forest.

"I'm sorry I wasn't able to stop it." Kageyama apologizes, which made Sugawara smiled as he gave him a back pat.
