The captains are havin a discussion whether they should train Hinata's titan to aid them for their battles. They all know Marley is up for something giving the fact that they have sent their titans in Paradis to capture the attack and possibly the hidden founding titan.
"If we don't move, Marley will destroy us all. Not to mention, they have most of all the titan power this world could get." Terushima said as he leans back on his seat.
"Yuuji is right. We can't just stay here and let Marley take over us. I certainly don't want to die on their hands." Daishō defended. The captains started telling each and everyone off their plans and preparation, completely ignoring the fact that Ushijima is just watching them.
"Why don't you all shut the hell up and listen to what our commander will say?" Oikawa suddenly said, silencing everyone.
"Ushijima?"
"We failed so many times now. First, we failed to save Wall Maria. Second, we failed to capture the female titan. All we have now is either train Hinata and Kageyama, or lose against Marley." Ushijima said before standing up, leaving the room to clear his mind and thoughts.
Shirabu and Goshiki are both waiting for him outside, escorting his out of the building as the room he left at is still quiet.
"So, what's your plan, captain?" Shirabu asked as they exit the building.
"I don't even know anymore. I don't know what's helpful for the walls." Ushijima said as he massages his temples.
"Why are you even so dedicated in protecting the civilians?" The doctor asked. Ushijima looks at him, realising what he had just said earlier.
"You're right. I am getting mad and crazy for the past four years." Goshiki looks at him in confusion as he stood beside them.
"Look, we can get this over with. Just stay calm, okay?" Shirabu said as he comforted his captain.
The three of them eventually made their way back to their headquarters, with Ushijima resting as his head keeps pounding.
"Why am I even doing this?" He said in his head before closing his eyes.
Hinata and Kageyama are hanging out on top of Stohess' wall front wall. Talking about everything that happened.
"I still can't believe Kenma betrayed us." Hinata mumbles as he puts some firewood on the bonfire.
"I kinda knew." Kageyama simply answered, causing Hinata to look at him.
"You kinda knew? How?" The orange head asked.
"I kinda knew, but I am still unsure if it is really him. I once saw him when I still lived in Liberio. I saw him and the courage he is in when they returned from the war. The six of them inherited the titans but I broke in, transformed myself into a mindless titan and ate one of their friend." Kageyama explained.
Hinata just looks at him in awe, hearing Kageyama's detailed yet brief description on how he got the attack titan.
"Did you ever regret killing someone?" Hinata asked.
Kageyama's smile drops as he looks at him. He then moves towards him, until he is already hovering Hinata.
"No. I liked it since I gained freedom from it." He said before going back to his seat, leaving Hinata all flustered.
"How about you? How did you got your power?" The raven haired asked.
Hinata sighs as he tries to remember what happened and how he got his titan powers.
"Hinata, you'll save the world. Hide from them and never tell anyone." His father said before injecting Hinata with an unknown syrum.
Suddenly, a flash of electricity appeared on the back of his head, cutting his flashback.
"Ouch..that kinda hurts." He rubs the back of his head before looking at Kageyama's shocked face.
"Hinata, you're possessing something everyone wants." Kageyama told him as he recovered from the shock he received.
Hinata looks at him in confusion as he tries to analyze what Kageyama had just said.
