Ch6- Hunting a Member

(Y/N)'s POV
As soon as everyone in the tower finished, a stone door opened up as everybody ran out towards the examiner with a box. He said that we needed to pick a card in the same order we came out from the tower.

Hisoka went first, that's no surprise, I guess. Hisoka is really amazing when it comes to challenges like this. When it was me and Killua's turn, we both walked up and simultaneously put our hands in the box.

We waited until we all got our cards until we gotten on the boat. "Who did you get, my little butterfly~?" Hisoka asked as he glanced in my direction. As well as Illumi, who also took interest in my card. (You just got some random dude this time.)

I showed them my target, which didn't match any of theirs. "Hm~? Well, good luck~" Hisoka patted my head and pulled me close to his chest. "I can get their tag for you." Illumi offered, but I shook my head no.

'I know he underestimates me and my strength. We'll just see who gets their badge first.' "(Y/N)." Illumi got my attention by making scary eye contact with me. "I want you to use yourself on me."

'Uh..nani.? (°ー°〃)' I just sat there as I was trying to process what Illumi just said. "I think you need to be more specific on what you say~" Hisoka chuckled and started braiding my hair. "Hisoka told me that you pulled back in his blood lust."

'More like bringing him back to his senses.' "Do you think you could try that on me?" I shrugged my shoulders and just gestured Illumi to bet on chance. 'Sure..I can do that, but pulling in somebody's blood lust takes an obscene amount of aura.'

"Illumi has a lot of blood lust built up inside of him. And he's been looking for a way to let it all out without having the urge to kill~" Hisoka chuckled and whispered in my ear. I rolled my eyes and just stared up at the clouds.

'He's the eldest child of "the" Zoldycks. For a small body like mine, they think I have the ability to reel something in that strong. I might be lucky enough if I were a Specialist.' "Why don't we play a game~?"

Hisoka pulled out a deck of cards, purposely giving me the Joker. I huffed and threw the deck off the boat, into the ocean. "Aw~! That wasn't very nice, my dear. I'm going to have to punish you for that~"

Hisoka chuckled as he was about to reach for my mask. But I stood my ground and harshly grabbed his wrist from getting any further. "My bad, sweetie. It was just a joke~" Hisoka attempted to take his wrist back, but I wouldn't let him.

"Darling..I'd like my wrist back, please~" Hisoka started to pull harder, but my grip only gotten stronger. 'One more word about my mask or muteness..I won't hesitate to lock you in a box myself.'

"(Y/N)! Over here!" Gon yelled out to me, snapping me out of my state. I got up from Hisoka's lap and walked over to Gon and Killua. "Hey, I heard about what happened in Trick Tower. Killua told me you were awesome in there!"

"B-baka! Don't tell her that.." Killua stuttered and looked away. "Who's your target?" I smiled and showed them the number I got. "That shouldn't be too hard." The boys and I then talked about stuff for about an hour..

I then went back to Hisoka to take a nap until we reach the island. "Here, my dear~" Hisoka put his coat over my shoulders to use as a blanket. "Don't want you to catch another cold, now do we~?"

I fell asleep in Hisoka's lap as I tried to ignore his weird conversation with Illumi. "Shall we finish what we did on the airship~?" I heard Illumi scoffed as I fell into a deep sleep. 'Those guys are weird. I even saw Hisoka reading a wedding magazine earlier.'

Gon's POV
"Gon, are you okay?" Killua asked me as I watched (Y/N) falling asleep. "Killua.." I looked down at the boat's wooden floor as I showed Killua my card. I heard him gasped as he looked into my eyes..

"Gon..if you want to become a Hunter and find your dad, you're going to have to take steal it." Killua said laid back as ever. "I know..but, that's just it. I don't want to steal it!" I burst into tears as I looked down at (Y/N)'s badge number on my card.

"Can't you see, Killua.? I could tell (Y/N) has been through enough as it is. I can't bring myself to do that to a friend. I promise..we're all going to become Hunters together. No matter what."

Hisoka's POV
'(Y/N)-chan..I'm sure being hunt down won't be much of a problem for you, right~?' I smirked and looked down at my wrist where (Y/N) left a giant bruise there. "Does it hurt?" Illumi asked as he already wrapped up my wrist in bandages.

"I'll be alright. After all, I have you to heal me, right~?" Illumi pinched me as I chuckled at his behavior. "Quit acting like that. Your aggressive attitude might not be enough for me to handle~"

"Sh-shut up, Hisoka.." 'Oh~! Even in his funny disguise, he still looks adorable~' "What are you going to do about those two?" Illumi asked as we both stared at the two kids. "They won't be much of a problem~"

I chuckled as I stroked (Y/N)'s hair. "They'll be dead by the time they find out where she really came from~" Illumi just shrugged his shoulders and glanced at his brother. "Tell me more about her past."

"Well..as far as I know, her clan locked her in a box to keep the monster from escaping. She's been locked in there for the past three months~" 'Oh, pity..I actually feel sad for her~' I sighed and continued to talk to Illumi.
