~Flashback~
I use to be clean, kind to others. I use to be loved.. Cared for by my village.. But they turned on me. They all did. And they all paid the price as far as I know. While I was in the box, I heard screaming..

My little brothers were screaming.. My sister was screaming.. My parents were screaming.. My clan was screaming.. The whole village was screaming.. I peeked outside the little hole of the box to see the higher ranks of the Shurah.

The Huriah. The most dangerous and high classed people you could ever meet in the mountains of the village. Sure, the Shurah are in charge of the executions; but the Huriah are in charge of keeping the village in peace.

Since my execution didn't work, the Huriah had to kill everyone who had ever witnessed my execution. Truth is..my village is very traditional. They like to keep the rules that were written down.

We had no leader. The citizens were responsible for their own lives. They just had to follow the rules of the contract. Every citizen older than eighteen had to sign a contract for their family.

The rules of the contract were specifically not to disobey the rules of the Shurah's job. While they were responsible for keeping the rules in check, the Huriah we're responsible to keep the the people in check.

If the executions didn't go well, that left the Huriah no other choice but to kill everyone in the village and throw the inmate away. That's how I ended up floating in the ocean, on a boat. Three months of never ending sea.

Once they've knocked on my family's door I ran to their bedroom to get the contract. I used my Nen to hide one of the rules on the contract to make sure that they don't kill me, too. Even if my execution was that day.

I did not care if I broke every rule in the contract. My family betrayed me.. My whole village betrayed me.. Now it is their time to suffer. Every last one of them will spill the blood of their own clan.

I didn't expect myself to stay alive. I just wanted revenge. Now I got it. They've treated me wrong. Now I've treated them wrong. They should've realized the consequences to mess with a child.

To mess with me. I still swear to this day, if anyone were to put me in that stressful position again, I will not hesitate to end their lives. Oh yeah, my mask.. I've realized what I had done to everyone in my village.

I will forever live with the guilt of being the one to murder them. That is why I promised myself to never take the mask off my face. Never show them.. Never hurt them.. Never kill them..

For anyone that will attempt to even touch me, rip it off, or to even tease me about it, they will feel the pain. Or maybe even a little twist on the wrist might knock some sense into them. Never show them..

Never hurt them.. Never kill them.. I know that the Huriah are looking for me, and that I am not dead. I know that there is a small chance that I might run into them someday. But that will never stop me from trying..

I will never show the world who I really am under my mask. That is why I repeat the words to this day: "Never show them.. Never hurt them.. never kill them.."

Third Persons POV
The blonde woman awoken from her slumber with a large grasping gasp that came from her uncontrolled breathing. Pakunoda looked at the hotel room's alarm clock, seeing that it is about four in the morning.

She sighed and came to the conclusion that she will not go back to sleep until she gets her coffee. She got up and made herself a drink as she stared outside the large window of her hotel room. 'That dream.. It wasn't..me.'

Pakunoda sank into her early morning thoughts as she watched the twilight of the morning dawn coming to its end. She sipped away on her hot coffee as the last fade of purple evaporated into the orange slate.

'That was no ordinary dream. It could be possible that my ability somehow contacted with someone's memories without me physically touching them, but mentally.. Could it be..that I was dreaming about (Y/N)'s past?'

Pakunoda frowned upon what she had just witnessed in her state of mind. She had never seen such a sight of a small child going through something like the torture the Phantom Troupe had been through.

'I see..then from this day forward, I will protect (Y/N) no matter what.'

(Y/N)'s POV
'Strange..why an I suddenly feel- "(Y/N), wake up, my dear~" Hisoka woke me up from my nap once we've reached the island, I kinda didn't listen to the examiners rules and followed Hisoka first off the boat anyway.

I felt more comfortable when I'm with someone I know; and since I get very attached to someone, like Hisoka. I can't stand staying away from that person after twenty four hours, or less I go crazy and start to barricade myself until I reunite with them again.

"My dear, you know you're supposed to follow the rules~" I looked back and saw Killua already walking off. I looked back at Hisoka and shrugged my shoulders. He sighed and held my hand as we walked into the forest.

"Sorry about my attempt to take off your mask, dear~" I nodded and understood Hisoka's tactics to mess with me. 'Since it is so typical of you, I'll just learn to get use to it.' "You know me, but I would love to get to know you~"

Hisoka crouched down to my height and attempted to take my mask off again. I slapped his hand, earning a smile back from him. "Maybe next time~" Hisoka shrugged his shoulders and chuckled.

"Come on my little butterfly, let's go scope out the island~" Hisoka picked me up as we started to travel around the island to begin our next challenge.
