Chapter 15
(Ericka's POV)
I opened my closet and reached for my dress. It was a red satin halter flowy dress that needs to be tied up at the back. I put it on and started with my make up. I planned for it to be like old hollywood. I'm pretty skilled when it comes to hairdressing too. I curled my hair and brushed it up into a clean chignon, to make me it look classy.
As I gazed upon my reflection in the mirror I noticed that a lot had changed. Many girls would kill to have my body. I remembered I used to be that girl a long time ago. I laughed at the thought. Who knew that, that fat girl who was often bullied turned out to be this fiesty sexy lady.
But everyone already knew my precious secret. Thanks to my ex-bestfriend. She's even nominated up against me as Homecoming Queen. She didn't stand a chance. I'm way better looking than her. Not that she's ugly, she did look and dressed better. She's actually pretty, she's just so stubborn when it comes to makeovers. Some guys even did have the hots for her. All, because of me of course.
I had to do something.
The doorbell rang and I went downstairs for my date.
"Mom, Dad my date's here. We're going." I shouted and had a last look in the mirror.
Mom came in the hallway excited to see me and my date. Her eyes lit up when she saw me.
"Wow honey you look amazing." she said.
"Where's dad?" I asked.
"Your dad's in the study room busy with his laptop as usual." She muttered.
"Okay" I sighed.
I opened the door and Tyler came in. He's wearing a black tuxedo and his brown hair was neatly styled to make him look dashy and debonaire. He stood with great confidence however, he was taken away as he marveled his eyes upon me.
"I'm guessing you like what you see." I implied.
"You bet." He grinned sheepishly.
I figured to be a Homecoming Queen, my date must be the Homecoming King. He's the most popular boy at school. It's plain logic. Well, he's up for it anyways. Then, so be it.

We entered the gym. It was decorated with lots of crepe papers, ribbons and glitters. There were colorful lights everywhere. At the center was a disco ball. On stage Homecoming 2012 were emphasized in bold letters.
"classic."
Everyone stopped and stared when we arrived. They were awed by the fact that I was with Tyler Collins again. As we strided the red carpet every single person either held their breathes or poked their eyes out.
"She looks so hot." a red-head guy wearing white polo shirt said.
"He so dreamy." a brunette in a blue dress sighed.
We just smiled at them and went for our seats. There waiting were Kate and Claire with their dates. Kate was in her pink satin tube gown and was estatic to see us. Her boyfriend Slater was secretly eyeing my low cut cleavage. On the other hand, Claire, in her purple silk gown, was not too happy to see me and Tyler. I felt bad for her date, who was desperately trying to please her.
"Wow. You two." Kate grinned. "You're like the power couple!"
"Yea." Claire said faking a smile. "Nice."
She's frustrated because she fancied Tyler to be her date. Ever since I broke up with him, she had been flirting with him. Too bad Tyler's still waiting for me.
