Glory was fretfully turning in her hammock, unable to sleep. She knew that the new queen would most likely be targeted. She was also sure that the queen was going to be a RainWing. Then she started worrying about the NightWings wanting to have their own queen again. Thinking way into the future, she was wondering if the Rain-Night tribe would be merged. That would most definitely arise problems. She shook her head, reminding herself that it wasn't her place or her time to worry about those types of things. The qualified dragons, with their own responsibilities would take care of those. But she still couldn't stop wondering...

Now tossing and turning, and after a long, long while, she fell asleep.
—————————
Glory was fretting over whether she should attend or not. Maybe I should go... but then leave in the middle of it... or maybe I should just skip it altogether... I have a bad feeling about this... but Deathbringer and Jambu will be looking for me... oh, shoot, I have to pick up the kids... poor Tamarin...

She ran out the door and past a very confused Jambu. "Sorry! I gotta go get my kids!"

Jambu blinked, and then yelled after her, "Just don't be late for the ceremony!"

She didn't reply, she was already out the door.
———————
"Esteria! Starfinder! Get over here! Tamarin! Where are you guys!"

There was no answer.

She looked around, and there, on the table, was a note.

Dear Lavender,
The kids helped me write this note to let you know that we're at the ceremony already. If you already haven't heard from Bromeliad already, that is. Hehe. Well, I'll see you there. Your Dragonets are a joy to be around. I'll drop off the kids after the ceremony! :)

-Tamarin and the kids

Oh, no.

The Ceremony! She had completely forgotten! She ran out the door and took of faster than you could say Dragons Fly Faster Than A Dragonfly Flies.

She needed to be there.

Storming through the sky, many RainWings and NightWings who were heading there all moved out of the way, as they sensed that she was in a very great hurry. She never got a chance to warn them.

They're all going to die.

Then she thought of all the innocent dragons that might be murdered.

There was still another assassin out there.

And she was going for Deathbringer, Jambu, and most importantly: The New Queen.

Glory didn't know what to do. She didn't know who it was. She didn't know how to hide. She didn't know if she she shouldn't go. No. If I get there in time, I might be able to warn them.

Glory kept thinking about MoonWatcher's warning. She just knew that it would happen, a feeling rooted deep in her gut. It kept bothering her day and night, and infuriated her, really. A dragon that would dare kill for their own benefit. Kill the innocent as well, Dragonets, they didn't care.

She had to get there before it started.

Then, an ingenious idea struck her.

It has to work.
—————
"And we are proud to announce..." said Deathbringer loudly, but with sadness in his eyes, he began again, "We are proud to announce the new queen, our future, the new queen of.."

Lavender wasn't paying attention. She was focused on the crowd. There. A flash of silver caught Glory's eye. A chakram. It was a NightWing holding it, but she couldn't see the face. She grabbed her arrow, and with the flick of her wrist, pinned the chakram as it was flying. Bulls-eye. The NightWing kept glancing at Jambu, as if they're confused as to why he isn't dead yet. They fumbled with the pouch around their neck for another chakram. Glory grabbed another arrow and flung it at the sensitive spot on their tail.
