"Kiawe?" Lusamine walked back to the grounds, arm around the now patched up Gladion. He had a large gash above his head, too big for a Band-Aid, so the nurse cleaned the wound and wrapped a bandana-like bandage around his head (his hair still covered it, however) Numerous other cuts had Band-Aids slapped onto them. He pushed a wad of tissues to his still-gushing-bloody nose, wincing in pain. "Where is everyone?"
"They needed to leave, like, urgently. Faba was in trouble, and there was no time to get you, I'm sorry," Kiawe explained. "I stayed so I could give you guys a lift with Charizard."
"Can your Charizard lift all three of us?" Gladion asked in a stuffy voice, as if he had a cold. It was because of the tissues. Try talking normally when you plug your nose, without making that weird nasally voice. He sounded a bit like that. "I've only seen you and probably Ash on it one or two times."
"We can try." Kiawe grinned, letting Charizard out of it's ball. "Charizard, do you think you can carry all three of us? If you can, could you let us fly to Aether?"
Charizard snorted confidently, kneeling down and beckoning for the humans to get on. "Thanks, Charizard, I knew I could count on you. Lusamine, Gladion, hold on tight!"
Charizard flapped into the air, a little slower than usual, but still strong enough to fly quickly. Lusamine gasped in awe at the sight. "Wow, it's not often I see the world from the back of a Charizard," She breathed. "You can see the entire island from up here!"
"I wonder how Faba's doing. From what I heard, he's not too good," Gladion mumbled. Kiawe looked back at him.
"All I know is that something bad's happening while- oh no. Oh... no no no...!"
"What is it, Kiawe?" Lusamine asked, putting a hand on his shoulder. Kiawe's eyes widened like a frightened cat. He seemed to be having a slight panic attack. He paled.
"What-what if... Marx w-was a d-distraction??" He stuttered. His hands shook and his breathing quickened. "What if someone used that distraction... t-to...."
"What is it?" Gladion asked a moment after Kiawe stuttered himself to silence. "Used that distraction to what at the Aether Paradise?"
"BREAK IN AND RELEASE TSURARA!!!" Kiawe howled. His eyes teared up in fright, and he practically began to hyperventilate, paling considerably. It took the work of both Lusamine and Gladion to snap him out of his petrification.
"Calm down, please, Kiawe!" Lusamine cried, now putting both of her hands on his shoulders, gripping them. "That probably won't be the case, don't worry! Even if it was, we can easily bring down Tsurara!"
"N-no... It's... not th-that easy!" Kiawe shuddered. His tears spilled and slipped down his cheeks. "You don't u-understand b-b-because y-y-y-you weren't th-there!" He gasped for air, trying to speak.
"What is it?" Gladion asked. "We were there for the Dark Matter, and practically not any other part of your adventure, what happened exactly?"
"We watched h-him a-as... we-!" Kiawe choked up and petrified again. His heart jumped to his throat and he began to cry, but it was more sobs that made his shoulders shutter and his breathing to be shaky. "He didn't d-deserve... he never deserved it!!" He yelled, burying his face in Charizard's neck.
"H-he n-n-never deserved to- hic- di-die, not ever, that M-M-M-Meta... Meta Knight!!" Kiawe wept. "We watched as he perished. We all saw it! I could have saved him- I should have been better!" He hid his face in his hands. "What if everyone else is dead? Tsurara probably ripped them to pieces..."
"Oh, Kiawe..." Lusamine whispered comfortingly, putting her arms around the boy. "I knew you tried hard... There was nothing you could have do-"
