part seven

Nyx pov.

When i woke up the next morning i was very excited. Today was October first meaning spooky time had started. Walking to the kitchen i decide to make some spooky themed pancakes for matty and loki. Once i got my pumpkin shaped ones done i set out to making me and loki tea. Tiptoeing to matty's room i whispered to him "hey matty its mommy wake up hun but be quiet dont wake up loki." When his tiny self woke up i let him stretch and then helped him pick out his outfit. We both silently returned to the kitchen and i sat him down. "Ok matty how about we surprise loki with breakfast in bed? First i need you to keep an ear out while i get everything set up. Can you do that for me?" He excitedly jumped from his short chair and sat in front of loki's door. Conjuring up a green and black tray, i poured his tea in a cup fixed just how he likes it, put his pancakes on a neat stack on a plate, and put his favorite flower using my magic in a small vase. Once i was done i motioned matty back towards me. I handed him the utensils and napkins. Walking silently towards his door i couldn't wait to surprise him as a thank you for all his help. I used my magic to make sure he was asleep but also decent. Stepping into his room i told matty to climb into his bed and gently wake him up. Once matty was close enough he hugged the crap out of loki. Loki shot up but when he saw matty he hugged him back gently. "Good morning papa me and mommy got you breakfast!" After matty shouted out what we was doing loki turned towards me. "Are those pancakes?" Nodding my head i said "yes they are and in the shape of pumpkins happy spooky month loki and good morning." Loki had a serious sweet tooth to the point where i had to hide Tony's and peppers anniversary cake from him the whole day till i could give it to them. I watched hus eyes light up like a childs as i went and grabbed matty his own tray of food but instead of tea he got his favorite juice. When i went to leave and eat on my own loki grabbed my arm "nah you dont get to make delicious food, deliver it to my bed and eat on your own." I shook my head "im just letting the boys eat." Trying to stand again i failed to hear him move the tray and tell matty to move a bit. Once his arms wrapped around me he yanked me to his lap and tickled me. Matty soon joined in and i was a laughing mess. None of us noticed jarvis call thor to come silently but quickly. He came in and snapped photos and took a video of our tickle fight and was gone before we noticed. "O-ok fine ill eat with you guys just stop tickling me." When he finished i got up grabbed my own food and sat on the bed with them. When we finished our food i cleared the dishes away making them clean themselves as i told the boys "ok both of you stay right here i need to do something quickly ill be right back." They nodded and continued to talk about the teams favorite moves and their abilities. Chuckling i closed the door and looked at the room. Creating a huge pillow fort with a bit ok maybe a lot of magic i set up movies and checked today's schedule. Grabbing the two wrapped boxes i had cap go get me to make up for using the rest of my favorite tea i raced back to the room. Cracking the door i saw matty doing caps favorite pose while loki did hulks. Smiling i stepped in silently. Sitting down i watched the boys play around even tho Loki was a grown man it was just so adorable that i had to snap a photo of them. Once matty spotted me he got loki to turn towards me. I smiled at them and told them to sit in front of me. I chuckled when loki acted like a big child before sitting down. "Ok here you both go. Open them carefully." I watched as matty opened a Halloween build-a-bear toy and when he heard the little message put in it. "Matty this is from mommy and daddy have a great Halloween this is our first together and remember all of us love you." He wouldn't stop hugging the toy i told him "hun there is another surprise keep opening." When he finally got it opened all the way he was face to face with pajamas the exact same as the one his new toy was wearing. Once he finished loki began to unwrap his own gift. Inside was three small bears from build-a-bear. One looked like matty, the other looked like me, and the last looked like him. He smiled warmly at the three small bears. They each had different pjs on the matty bears matched matty's new pjs. He finished opening the gift to find his own pjs matching his bear. They both looked delighted when i stepped out and came back in wearing my own pjs. Once we all had changed i showed them the fort. All three of us got inside and snuggled up watching all kinds of movies. After three movies i got up and told the boys to get dressed. The next surprise was waiting for us to arrive. Once we all got loaded up in my car i drove us to our destination. Getting out i showed them a small hike that lead to our picnic spot. Once we was walking matty kept saying "mommy what are we doing?" I would reply "you will see dear." For the next fifteen minutes we walked until we finally came across the small clearing. When we went to sit down the stuff appeared. "Did you make us a picnic? What other surprises do you have there nyx?" I just laughed "yes its a picnic and only one more ok." For the next hour we ate in peace having small conversation over our favorite Halloween traditions and watching matty play. Once it was time to leave i said "alright come on boys only one more activity today before home." When we walked back matty was in our arms as he was a little tired of walking. I leaned towards loki "he can nap in the car the next activity is an hour away." He looked up "i hope its nothing to big you really didnt need to do any of this." I stopped and turned to loki "nonsense i know i didn't have to but its our first Halloween with matty i want it to be special and to give thanks to you for everything you have done so far." He let out a small grin "you don't have to thank your friend but thanks for making this day special for matty." When we got back we drove in silence as matty softly snored in the back. Once we arrived i magically made me look nice in some fall clothes,and made matty look adorable and fashionable in his fall clothes too. Loki did his own but he did look amazing. Walking up to the photographer i said "hey Ralph im ready for the small photoshoot with my friend and son." Ralph turned around quickly "oh nyx you look as beautiful as when i last saw you and my my is your friend attractive and your son absolutely adorable. Ok lets get started with your photos." I hugged my old pal and told loki that we was taking photos for matty's first fall and Halloween with us. When we took photos Ralph would make us act less like models and more human it was his style to make the photo look like it was timed perfectly to get real human emotion. Once we finished matty had became best friends with ralph and his daughter sophie. After a few more minutes he told me it would be two days for him to get the photos to me. I couldn't wait but just looking at them pre-editing made me smile at how happy and like a family we looked. Once we got home we was all tired but still smiling from ear to ear. I put matty to sleep for a nap and went to the couch to watch a movie with loki. When he picked the only horror film i couldn't stand because of the medical facility like testing area it took place in i got ready to scream. Cuddled in the blankets right next to loki whenever i would see the testing rooms with horror shots id let out a small scream and hide in his side. He didn't seem to mind at all that i was using him to hide myself. I dont think he would know this particular movie was the worst to show me and the only reason i watched it was because he was next to me and i knew i was safe. Finally it ended and i was completely shaking from the horrible final scene. Hopping up i grabbed the remote and picked a movie i knew i would enjoy. Within a minute though loki asked why the first movie scared me so much. "Because of the testing i was put through in a facility much like that one only more horrific." Instead of answering he simply hugged me then a moment later said "im so sorry i should have thought im so stupid." Letting a small grin on my face i said "your not stupid i am you are the idiot get it right and its fine." He let out a chuckle before we continued to watch the movie. Eventually we went to our rooms and slept the night away. The next time i woke up lightning cracked in the sky. Frightened ive always disliked lightning storms. Another load crack and flash of light sent me out of my room. Stumbling into the kitchen i found another person awake. Loki stood visibly frightened and with a new crack of lightning he tensed up. "L-loki are you up?" He turned slowly towards me trying to hid his fright at the storm outside. "Nyx what are you doing up?" I was shaking slightly but he didnt seem to notice "i hate lightning storms they scare me always have." He looked up possibly trying to see if im being truthful "me too thor used to use it against me. Want some company?" I nodded before taking him to the couch. Getting multiple blankets, pillows and some snacks ready to wait out the storm. I knew i needed to go touch the water or else ill be in pain. When they did testing on me they made something that forces me to have to touch rain water when its charged from lightning. If i didnt i would have extreme pain like being struck with bolts of lightning over and over. "Loki i need to go touch the water." He looked at me confused "read my mind loki you will understand." After a second of him reading he gasped before trudging with me. Once we was at the roof i stepped out completely into the rain water. It was a mere second but it was enough to get me soaked. Rushing back in i shivered. Loki conjured up clothes and sent me to my bathroom. After taking a quick hot shower i tried off and put the clothes on. My soft dark grey sweat pants and loki's shirt. His shirt was huge on my body but very comfortable. Grabbing some fuzzy socks after putting my hair up in a messy bun i went back to the couch. Me and loki cuddled up together keeping warm and comforting each other. After a few more minutes matty came from his room and grabbed some food. When he saw us he said "can i go see uncle thor for a moment?" Me and loki both nodded still cuddling. Once matty disappeared down the tower me and loki huddled even closer. The storm was still going wild so i said "here I'll sing us to sleep." I started to sing waiting for love. Eventually both me and loki was asleep.

Thors pov.

When little matty came and got me he said two words "mommy daddy." I understood and grabbed my phone. Walking quickly with him i got to his floor. I saw the two bundles on the couch snoozing away. Creeping towards them i snapped several adorable photos of them. Little did they know the whole tower shipped them even little matty was a hardcore shipper. When the bet started nat made sure to help me find the cute moments of theirs that i could snap pictures of but soon the whole tower was doing it and even matty joined in on operation mommy and daddy. Matty named the operation. I walked off with my new photos knowing they both would fall eventually for each other it will just take time.
