Nyx pov.

I woke up in the medical area and looked myself over. I was healed minus my foot and a cracked rib. Lucky me there isnt any new scars. I think back ro my conversation with loki and wonder why he seems cold towards me but not everyone else. I go scan my appearance in the mirror and notice ive been changed into a hoodie and shorts. My eyes are a sunset purple, i have always loved and hated my eyes. Looking at my hair i sigh as i see it. My hair is exactly like my real moms which makes me sad to see its silvery waves. Walking out of the med area i see nat coming towards the entrance "hey nyx great that your awake and up bruce said you can leave and return to your floor but you need rest and as well as no missions for a while." Im about to protest and say im fine however i see her give me look to shush. Trudging to the elevator i pass thor and jane. I smile and hug jane and pat thor's back. When i finally reach my floor i step out to see many of my teammates hanging out with loki. I smile gently at the sight and go to my room thinking i was unnoticed. Little did i know a certain god had saw me...

Loki's pov.

I saw nyx smile at me and her friends as she snuck to her room. No one else saw her small but tall form. I feel a shock of her emotions and to say the least she was in pain. When they was called for a mission tony asked me to watch her and make sure she got up to her floor. I walked straight to her room to find out more of why she was in deep mental pain. When i came into her room i saw her sitting in front of a full length mirror. She was murmuring something hat i could just make out "if only i didnt look like them life would be better, if i had never been born they would have been happier." I quickly wondered who she was talking about but my mind couldn't think straight. Leaving her room i stayed near enough to hear if she needed me. Sitting and reading an hour passed. When a sudden crash caught my attention from the page i was on. Hopping up i ran to hear room only to her curled in a tree that grew in the tower. I grabbed her off the branch as some of them started to get to tangled near her throat. She looked towards me but not at me her mind far away. She whimpered "sorry master please no more testing they hurt to much please dont make me kill again." I was scared and silent when gently i said "hey nyx its me loki come on look at me." She wouldn't even look at me just kept whimpering so i screamed "look at me stupid mortal!" At this she blinked and finally her eyes looked at me. Then she passed out so i laid her on my bed then took care of the tree. As i was carrying a large limb the avengers arrived. They was all smiles and laughs till they saw me. Cap was the first to respond "why do you have a limb?" I was about to answer when wanda and thor yelled "NYX!" The team ran to her room but i just pointed towards my own. When they saw her they gasped and hugged her. Bucky looks at me and says "thank you loki." Tony fixed her room with some help and i was in my room again but alone. Looking around i couldn't stop thinking of why she would say what she did.

Nyx pov.

I stared at my ceiling thinking about the days events. As a few tears slipped out i thought of who came to help me. Now i know the others had left but he still didnt have to do what he did. I know he is not a bad guy but why does he treat me the way he does. Maybe i can go on a small trip to clear my head. Ill ask bruce if i can go for two weeks and just think. Getting up i go down to where the rest of the team are. I look for bruce only to see him making a bet with bucky to see who would win nat or cap in an arm wrestle match. Chuckling i tell bruce i need to talk with him for a second. Buck wonders off so i can have some privacy. I ask Bruce "hey is it ok if i go to a hotel to think for about two weeks as long as i dont do much?" He stares at me before saying "its fine with me lets tell tony and book a hotel room." I knew he was concerned but im glad he didn't ask. When we entered the lab tony looked right at us before returning to his work.  "Hey nyx and bruce im a bit busy but what do you need?" I look at him and say "bruce said its ok if i want to go to a hotel for two weeks to think if im careful so we need you to help us book one." Tony completely left his work to stare me and bruce down. A whole ten minutes passed before he spoke "alright fine ill get you a hotel room if you call every night so we know your ok." I nodded at his idea happily and hugged him. He said "tomorrow you leave ill drive you tonight at dinner you and loki eat with all of us so we can inform the team." I nodded again and took off towards the elevator. I walked as fast as i could to my room to pack. Packing everything i would need for the next two weeks. As i was about to put my favorite hoodie in my bag i heard jarvis "miss. Stark dinner is in ten minutes shall i inform mr. Loki for you?" I replied back "thanks jarvis but ill tell loki." I walk towards loki's door and ready myself to knock. After two knocks i hear a grouchy "come in." When i open his door i poke my head in to find him at his balcony. Stepping towards i say "tony said to eat dinner with the others." With those words i walk straight out and to the elevator. I wait for loki and finally after a minute he trudges toward me. When we get to the correct floor i already smell food. Walking out we join our friends. After about thirty minutes of talking and eating tony clears his throat and says "everyone listen nyx is taking a trip to a hotel to think by herself for two weeks starting tomorrow." Different levels of shock was heard from the group around the table. Many stare at me but i remain silent. Looking into their thoughts most are shocked but when i get to loki's thoughts hos are...
