Sameera
Everything is going smoothly. I have covered several news stories in the past week that got our channel very high TRP ratings and good reputation.
It's been a week since I visited the forest people. Anwar bhaijaan handled that case. I haven't given it a thought since.
Meanwhile I went to the police station after 3 days again as Arav wasn't responding to my calls or messages yet. I met his friend Satish to know his whereabouts. Satish told me that they used to be batchmates in training and are good friends.
He also tried to expand his friendship towards me, and I accepted without a second thought. Having a police for a friend comes in handy at times. Especially when the one who promised to help you got transferred to another place.
Arav is so gonna get lectured when I meet him someday. He should have at least texted me about his transfer. But he decided to leave me hanging. He hasn't even seen my texts.
Satish told me 3 days ago that Arav got transferred to Punjab. That's too early to get a transfer from a city you recently transferred to. I am very curious to know what happened to him, but I can't until he calls me back. I mean is it so hard to send a simple text. So I stopped giving him my precious attention.
I am still trying to find the little girl. I don't know why I agreed to let go of that matter so easily, but I guess it was a good decision. I obviously needed a break.
I haven't had any dreams or nightmares since about the waterfall or wolf. For a second I came to believe that I suffered an illusion, but the next day my thoughts were crystal clear. I knew the memory was true. But I still decided to let Anwar handle the matter and I know he is doing great. There have been no complaints yet.
This weekend Raina and Akshita have decided to go clubbing and invited me too. You wouldn't say Raina is a party animal after spending a whole week with her, but it is a universal truth. She is the biggest party animal I have ever met.
Akshita says this is because Raina does everything with passion, whether it's work or fun. Akshita and I are not so fond of clubbing as because Akshita can't do a single dance move without falling facedown and I just can't handle so much irrelevant noise.
But apart from our hesitation, Raina always succeeds in convincing us to accompany her, promising that she will pay for the dinner.
That reminds me of another commonality among us. We hate alcohol. Sometimes I wonder if we just coincidentally shared the same apartment or were we fated to be friends.
Anyways, I had to deny her offer as I already decided to pay a visit to Anwar's house and spend some quality time with my little munchkins. It's been a while since I met them. Shayna bhabijaan will be thrilled to know about me coming over for dinner. They consider me a part of their family as much as I do.
I finished all my work yesterday so I am waiting to be assigned a new task. Oh who am I kidding? I have been thinking about the wolf all week. This morning, I woke up early and decided to rest for a little longer. And the dream came back.
I found myself in the forest, again. But this time instead of one, there was a pack of giant wolves, standing behind the black wolf. All started howling at the same time when the moon spread it's shine. Then the black one looked at my direction and the others followed his gaze. They took steps towards me and I ran as fast as I could. On the run, I tripped and fell on a soft surface only to find the surface is the white furry body of a werewolf. The wolf ran with me on her back and jumped into water. The water tasted salty like seawater. Though I was underwater, I could see clearly. I saw a seashell which opened slowly, revealing a shiny light blue pearl. I stretched my hands to grab it.
