Ansh

I kept thrashing each rogue that came into my vision, searching for their boss. They'll all pay for the pain they caused my mate.

I mind linked Trishna to take the kids and Sameera to safety and stay with Sapna. She was in her room with Sameera by her side.

Please keep her safe, Moon Goddess. I am begging you. Please, reciprocate my faith in you.

After that I was too emerged in ripping out the rogues, especially the vampires. I was careful as to not let any vampire bite me or plunge the silver knives they had into me.

I heard a painful cry coming from the direction where Arav stood. A vampire stabbed him with a silver knife. As I went to help him, a bunch of rogues jumped on me and I got busy handling them.I tried to mind link my pack members to help Arav. But everyone had their own fair share of trouble.

I was relieved when back up arrived at the right moment. Joseph called for a team of Super cops to help us in this final battle. The team consisted of 5 super cops of which two were werewolves, one vampire, one witch and one human who was an officer of higher ranking. They called him Chief. Arav seemed to be well acquainted with him.

With their assistance, we caught all the rogues and trapped them inside a magical cage brought by the super cop team, which prevented the rogues from using their powers.

There were losses on both sides. Two of my pack soldiers died during the fight, while more than a dozen rogues died, including both vampires and werewolves.

There were more than 30 casualties including Paras, Sameera and Arav. The human super cop got a broken shoulder and bleeding torso. I must say for a human, he really was a deserving super cop. So was their chief.

While Suyash and the witch super cop treated all those who were injured, the rest of us adults, minus Trishna, went to dig up some answers from those rogues. Circling around the high tech magical cage, my eyes fell upon their leader. The rogue who trespassed our lands more than a month ago.

"Time for a short conversation. Spill the beans." Said Joseph.

Keeping their bloodied faces blank as slate they kept their mouth shut.

"Answer. Why did you kidnap my mate? You could've just simply attacked my pack if you wanted it's ownership. Why all the fuss?" I asked.

Their leader, whose name was Sharad, smirked wide after which The vampire Super Cop electrocuted him with a bearable amount of electrical voltage. Then he started speaking. Well he had no other option. As I have been informed, in this cage, you either say the truth or not speak at all. Now that his mouth started spilling words, each word was going to be true. Just like Joseph's truth bubble.

"I don't want your weak pack. They can gain me nothing. I wanted the Sea Moon Pearl. The magical pearl whose strength is still unknown. Your ancestors have had possession of that pearl since centuries but never used it. So I decided to do the job myself. But only a true Alpha of your bloodline along with his Luna can retrieve the pearl from its hibernation. So I devised a plan to send my trusted witchling to be your Luna so that she could manipulate you into getting the pearl out of hibernation to steal it for me later." He started speaking like mechanically.

"But unfortunately your mate arrived to disrupt the equation. So I sent my most powerful vampires to eradicate her. They killed her weak father which resulted in her showing her true colours. She killed one of the 3 vampires. But she wasn't that powerful. My vampires would have finished her that night if not for that stupid human. She not only saved your injured mate but lead your whole pack to her."
