Sameera

Anwar bhaijaan could be so superstitious sometimes. What bad can happen on a shiny full moon night? Personally I am a fan of the shiny full moon nights.

It's a symbol of hope. Hope that only one moon is enough to eradicate the darkness spread around the environment. Light winning over darkness in the latter 's own territory.

To be honest I was a fan of all those full moon and werewolf novels and movies as a teenager. Thought they were cool. Especially when they saved the world from evil vampires. But my practical side won over fantasy. Then my career became my first priority.

Now that I have mentioned this, the dots seem to connect themselves. A huge wolf, a group of people living in the forest, a girl that came out of nowhere and vanished. But these are just coincidences. The term 'Supernatural' is itself very superstitious.

Or maybe a well thought out plan of a criminal gang, to use this forest as a base to carry out their shady business. This thought is the one that brought me here in the first place. What if those forest dwellers are actually criminals dealing in animal and human trafficking? I have to find out soon.

Walking further into the deep forest, I can hear all the insects crawling, voices of owls and bats. I even saw one swinging upside down from a thick banyan tree. Such a creepy situation I had gotten myself into. But it's worth the risk.

About after half an hour of walking in, I heard a high pitched howl. Then followed many more howling. Like a group of wolves singing on chorus, except the song isn't a pleasant one, rather a warning to stay away. To stay away from them. If one wolf howls the others follow afterwards. So that concludes the number of wolves in this forest. Too many.

And fortunately, or should I say unfortunately, all of them are standing together in front of my eyes. It's near the waterfall. I immediately hid behind a large tree so they won't detect me. I calmed down my breathing and stood still so as not to make any sounds they could hear.

I watched them standing together, leaving small gaps between every two wolves, standing like couples. They seemed to be waiting for a speech. They were looking towards the top of a not very high cliff where stood the black wolf I saw previously.

Yes, I knew it. I wasn't hallucinating. Whose insane now, huh.

I was so happy to have finally found evidence.

I should record this.

Careful to not make any noise, I took out my small camera and switched to night vision mode. It was a gift from my parents on my birthday last year. This sure proves effective in my field of work. I took some photos first and then started recording a video of the wolf pack.

The black wolf turned to look towards the moon and howled. Then all of them kept howling in unison. The black one must be an alpha which is considered the leader of a wolf pack. This is the first live wolf pack I saw.

After recording them for almost 3 minutes I saved the video. It's enough. Now, let's get out before they decide to feast on me.

They were so busy in howling their throats out that it was easy for me to sneak out of that place. After walking for the next 15 minutes I checked the photos and videos, copied them to my phone memory and sent to Anwar bhaijaan's mobile. He needed proof, now he's got it.

I wanted to search for the lost little girl, so I went in the direction of the land where the forest dwellers lived.

The place looked quite and empty. Maybe everyone took their respective pet wolves out on a walk. Ha ha.
