Sameera
I can't believe I asked a guy out on a date with me. That to a super cop.
My dating history is a blank sheet of paper. Hence, I never expected to take a step on my own. I am really shy where romance is concerned. But knowing that it was Arav, I didn't hesitate.
The night Raina tried hitting on him, I didn't like that a bit, which was quite unusual. That's when I first realised my feelings for Arav were way beyond friendly.
I don't know when exactly it started. But after some thought, I knew I liked Arav from the very moment I met him. When he left me hanging weeks ago, I tried to not think about him. And I most certainly succeeded until he arrived in his super cop attire, making me realise how much I missed him.
I didn't want to lose him. So I took my chances. Not to mention my feelings were immediately reciprocated. I sort of knew he would say 'Yes'. I was on 9th cloud when he agreed. These few weeks were a rollercoaster ride. But the result was worth it.
The evening was amazing. My first date with Arav. And he asked me out for a second date after dropping me back home. I wore a light pink long, sleeveless dress chosen by Raina.
I told my roommates that I was with my newfound little sister all these times who turned out to be Arav's friend whom he was apparently visiting that day. Hence, the reason Arav acted as my chauffeur.
Raina tried to avoid the discussion about that day, especially the fact of her sudden leg injury. After a lot of pestering she finally told us what happened that day.
And her description goes like this, "You were gone so not having the mood for cooking, Akshita and I decided to order takeout. I ordered a pizza which arrived late and before I could have had a bite, my boss called. After talking to him in our room, I came out to see Akshita clutching her stomach in pain. She kept saying she was feeling really sick. So I went out to take my car from the parking to take Aki to hospital, but......please don't laugh and I am not kidding, but as soon as I took a step down the stairs, I-I... I felt someone push me from behind. I wasn't paying attention but I swear I felt none other than a pair of hands push my shoulders."
Aki wanted to search further on the new found information, but I knew better. It wasn't hard to conclude that those pair of hands that pushed Raina belonged to one of the rogues that kidnapped me.
2 days after my return from the pack, Arav and Joseph came to meet me for some paperwork. Joseph claimed to have sensed some supernatural activities near my apartment, and put a protection spell around the apartment, much to my relief.
I am sure the rogues caused harm to my roommates deliberately, delivering that poisoned pizza to make them sick, and pushing Raina down (as she didn't eat the pizza) so she couldn't drive and would call me for help in the end, so the rogues could kidnap me easily.
I am happy they are gonna rot in supernatural jail forever, or whatever other punishment they receive.
Rai and Aki were so excited to know about my date with Arav. This was my first date. But they seemed more excited than me.
They were hellbent on giving me a full makeover which they did anyway. I was so excited and nervous at the same time when Arav arrived in front of my door step, dressed in a navy blue tuxedo.
He dressed all gentleman-ish that made him look even more handsome. The whole ride, he kept mentioning how breathtakingly beautiful I looked. I made a mental note to thank my roommates for their work on my makeover.
I noticed him stealing glances at me every 5 seconds while driving. I had to try real hard to not melt out blushing.
Oh, this amazing feeling of first love. Did I say love. Well, gotta think about the intensity of my feelings for officer Arav later.
He took me to my office which was decorated like a wedding venue for the celebration. Oh, by the way we were also celebrating our boss's wedding anniversary along with our channel's as the two occasions fall on the same day, coincidentally.
Entering the hall with Arav's hand holding mine, I first noticed Anwar Bhaijaan. I remembered what Ansh told me about him and Shayna bhabijaan. Bhaijaan's got a lot of explaining to do to me. But not today. Today I am only concentrating on my date.
And looks like bhaijaan noticed my date as he winked at me with a thumbs up, wishing me good luck on my first ever date. He informed me that bhabijaan had some prior appointment with a friend for which she couldn't attend the party, leaving him all by himself.
Yeah like I don't already know what that appointment is.
He excused himself to attend some arrangements, so as to not bother us. Such an understanding brother he is.
After our boss addressed the party and cut the cake celebrating his wedding anniversary with his beautiful wife, the dancing session began. And fortunately, I am not as bad at dancing as Raina and Akshita are.
Hand in hand Arav and I danced for a while, lost in each other's presence. He just wouldn't stop complimenting me, making me blush all evening.
After dinner, we headed back home. He walked me to my apartment door. And then pecking my forehead he asked me out on a second date the next weekend. And I said "Yes" without wasting a second.
He got so excited with my response that he planted an immediate, smooching peck on my right cheek. That was such a heavenly feeling that made tingles run down my entire body.
His excitement and happiness was easily communicated through this cute, romantic gesture.
This was a truly satisfactory first date. I am already waiting eagerly for the second one. Spending time with him feels so good everytime.
After he left I was bombarded with questions regarding our date by Rai and Aki. But for some reason Aki made me spare the details and I excused myself for a good night's sleep. Finally everything is back on track. The track that leads to happiness.
I admired the place I was in. Cherry blossom covered my surroundings. The ground turned completely pink. Snowflakes started falling on me. By the river which was full of crystal clear fresh water. 3 pink dolphins kept playing with each other.
Walking forward I spotted a large castle. Entering in I saw the modern look of the place. I noticed the black tiles shining, reflecting my image on to the floor. I took the nearby stairs to find myself on the terrace after a while. The sky was full of small white clouds. The sun shining bright.
From behind a huge cloud came a girl, dressed in jeans and blue tank top with fair skin, black hairs and a pair of big white wings. She looked like an angel with the bright aura around her. Taking my hand she flew up above the sky, taking me with her, only to be hit by a mountain.
