Ansh

No one can threaten to get me arrested for my own mate's kidnapping inside my own territory. Such nerves.

Though I can't punish her. After all if not for her, my mate would not be standing by my side right now. I owe her that much.

She has a truly generous and brave heart for a human being. All the times she entered my territory she wanted to help somebody else. Quite rare characteristics these days. Not that I will ever say that out loud. Right now I am busy enjoying her shell shocked expression.

"B-but......but how? When? Why? Why are you marrying this criminal? Are you out of your mind? Did you hit your head last month? Is he blackmailing you? I mean, he is a freaking cold blooded criminal for God's sake. And cherry on top, he is a werewolf, all of them are? What's wrong with you?"

She kept calling me all kinds of names she could. I pressed my lips together to stop the angry growl from escaping, along with a chuckle of mockery at her naivety. I nodded in agreement towards Sapna who was looking at me for permission to tell her part.

"My name is Sapna. You must be Sameera. I am glad I got to meet you again. I wanted to properly thank you for saving my life. I am really grateful to you." Spoke my beautiful mate.

I can't stop myself from adding these lovely adjectives while talking about her. That's the magic of the sacred mate bond. The magic of love.

Whenever I look at her, I get the same amazingly butterfly fluttering feeling in my stomach that I got the day I first saw her. My heart beat speeds up.

When I got her scent in the woods, I knew my mate is closer. When she came in front of me I was taken aback by her beauty. She rendered me speechless like nothing else.

I noticed her features closely, her beautiful, shiny black orbs matched mine. Her smooth skin was as beautiful as the moon. Her long, thick black hair highlighted her fair complexion. Her slender physique and 5'4" height gave her an amazingly cute figure for an omega werewolf.

She was as mesmerized by me as I was by her. Though I was a little unsettled when she mentioned leaving her pack to live as a lone wolf with her father.

In werewolf community, mostly rogues choose to stay alone and not become a part of any pack. Hence, all wolf packs around the world avoid interacting with lone wolves. Rogues are trouble. The past few months have contributed in strengthening this notion. We have encountered rogue trespassers once in a while. But recently, the frequency has increased along with the damage caused by the uninvited wolves.

After Sameera's first visit to my pack, I investigated the truth in her story. I discovered she was right. Especially about the wolf invasion into the slum. The rogue wolf we shooed away that night, chose to scare the slum people. Though I was glad he caused no damage to those ignorant humans.

A couple of days later, the same wolf again trespassed our lands. I wanted to capture and question him about his random visits, but he ran away before I could get my claws on him.

Even after the initial worry I had regarding her lone status, Sapna's explanation erased all my doubts. Not all lone wolves are rogues afterall. She was the perfect Luna for me and my pack. Hence, I accepted her without questioning her bloodline. Her honesty got me on my knees.

Last month, I died a thousand deaths when I saw her fatally injured, laying almost unconscious in the human's arms. But thanks to the Moon Goddess, Sameera came out to be her saviour.

With a confident smile she spoke again, "And as for your objection over my choice of groom, let me tell you, I love him. He is my mate. You say I am crazy to be with him cause he is a werewolf. Because so am I. Yes, I am a werewolf and the soon-to-be Luna of this pack."
