"someone's calling me." dohwa said, looking around
he was currently by the benches with haru. they were thinking of a plan on how to bring back danoh. it was haru's idea, dohwa just wanted to be part of it because he said he wanted the best trio back. the best trio was of course them—that's what he said— haru, dohwa and danoh.
"lee dohwa, hi!" hayoung popped out of nowhere
"you shocked me!" dohwa held on to haru for his dear life, "no name? i mean- hayoung! you're hayoung right?" he asked, pointing a finger.
"yes! hayoung haha i'm hayoung. nice to finally meet you properly even though we're classmates." hayoung smiled
"yes, yes we're classmates." dohwa cleared his throat, sitting back up straight "haru, this is hayoung my classmate and hayoung, this is haru, my best friend. he's very handsome i know but i'm more handsome and also, he's taken. though his girlfriend right now is not aware of the said relationship, he is still not available and is not in need of a girl-"
"just eat some sandwiches." haru cut the boy off by shoving a sandwich into his mouth
"aiwaheriverhwihi!" (i wasn't even finished)
"yeah, whatever." haru waved off, taking a bite out of his own sandwich.
dohwa took his time chewing and swallowing his food as hayoung watched him in slight disgust as haru was minding his own business. the siblings were still not talking to each other. each taking pride in their own pride.
"so," dohwa cut off aa he coughed choking a little bit, "what is it you want from me? since haru isn't available, maybe you were actually interested in me?" he asked drinking from his strawberry milk.
"uhh not really haha." hayoung answered trying hard not to cringe.
"i just wanted to talk to you. privately." hayoung sternly answered
"privately? why?"
"because. privately."
"i mean, well okay." dohwa answered standing up, "i'll be back brother. don't miss me too much." dohwa pat haru's shoulder as he followed where hayoung started walking to.
"so, what is it you wanted to talk to me so privately about?"
"listen, i know you and haru go way back from the other manhwa of this manhwa, but haru and i go even way more back. even before he was named haru. back when he was named jacob, jipyeong, rowoon- i love that one! he was an idol in that manhwa, but anyway, i just wanted to tell you that haru and i go waaaaay back. and i know what's best for him, for you, for everyone else." hayoung crossed her arms trying to look intimidating
"uhhh okay?" dohwa was not sure where this was going
"what i'm saying is, you shouldn't be doing what haru asks you to. it's bad news. bad vibes. bad script writing!"
"what is haru even asking me to do?" dohwa asked, still unsure
"i don't know! changing stages! stuff like that!"
"ohhhh! that! that... yes." dohwa nodded "what's wrong with that? it's actually good! we get to do what we want and we can show that writer who's boss. it feels great to be the one who decides my fate." dohwa answered proudly
"honey, it feels good for you but not for others. telling you that based on experience. experience for many years. has no one even told you yet what happens when we change stages???" hayoung was getting stressed with this boy
"no?" he wasnt sure with his answer
"gosh!" hayoung face palmed, "okay i will explain it to you and i will only be saying all these once so listen well, okay?"
dohwa nodded feeling intrigued.
"if one person changes the stage, the writer notices that and the writer doesn't like a huge challenge oh no no, sir. they don't. so either they take away a character or take away a huge part of a character's life." hayoung explained, "it affects us everyone else big time. so we cannot be selfish for ourselves because we should co-exist here. you get that big boy?" hayoung asked
"oh my gosh. so that time when haru suddenly disappeared then appeared, that was because- we kept changing the stages???" dohwa asked, horrified.
hayoung nodded, placing a hand on his shoulder for comfort.
"this is big news! i gotta tell haru!" dohwa was about to dash off then hayoung got a hold of his wrist.
"dohwa, do you think haru will listen to you? he won't even listen to me. he doesn't listen to anyone. he was even willing to be taken off the manhwa for the sake of eun danoh's changing fates fiasco. you should think straight. whenever haru asks you to do something bad, say no. okay? you should be a good influence on him and tell him to do the opposite. now, i'm gonna go talk to jinmiche about some stuff so you go back to haru and be a good friend. be a good boy, okay?"
"okay." dohwa nodded obediently as he watched her walk away.
"oh, by the way!!! please tell your brother i said hi hehe." hayoung blushed, running off.
