a scene just ended and now baek kyung didn't know where to go. he didn't want to hang out with dohwa since he always hung out with haru. namju was always with juda, and danoh was too much for him at the moment. he wasn't that used to her being so into him anymore that it felt weird it felt like he was taking advantage of her though he isn't. he just needed some time by himself, to set his thoughts through.
and so there he was, in the library looking through manhwas that could spark up an interest for him. he wasn't planning on reading another secret it was just giving him a headache.
"we're not in the stage right now. why don't you go to danoh."
hearing that name made baek kyung's attention turn to the couple talking by the corner.
"no, i'll do that later when there's a stage. for now, i want to hang out with you sis." it was haru
sis?
the girl sighed, "haru, i love you but i'm getting tired of scolding you. you really need to stop messing with the stages." she said seriously
baek kyung was still hiding behind the book shelves, listening.
"because of what you're doing, what if the writer takes me away from you?" sge asked
"i-" haru wasn't able to respond
"have you ever thought of that?" she asked, "what if danoh's dad gets taken away, what if jinmiche suddenly disappears, what if baek kyung all of a sudden disappears too-"
"baek kyung, baek kyung." haru cut her off
"what?"
"will you not shut up about baek kyung?" haru asked standing up
"where is this going, haru?" she asked standing up also
"i know you, hayoung. get over it. get over him." haru gritted his teeth
"i'm trying, okay? and i wasn't only worried about him. i'm worried about everything and everyone else. we live in this world- no, we live in this manhwa but we don't own our lives, we don't get to decide for ourselves. our story has already been decided by the Gods we call the stupid writer. i'm just trying to stop anything bad from happening, haru." hayoung explained, tearing up. "have you not learned? you've experienced enough to know enough. everyone has gone through so much and i hope you put that in mind. i know it's selfish but i just want to stay here. i don't want to disappear. i'm a nobody, haru don't forget that." and she walked out.

"what? we're going on an early trip? where?" semi asked
"we don't know yet. we just heard some rumors going around." a classmate of theirs answered
"oh my i hope its in paris! i have been wanting to go back there for a while now! oh dear this is so exciting!"
"baek kyung, did you hear that?" danoh asked, "we're going to paris!" she excitedly shook the boy
"it's just a rumor, plus it was semi who said she wanted to go to paris so im pretty sure paris won't be a part of the choices anymore." baek kyung rolled his eyes.
"what? why do you think that?" danoh asked
"maybe to piss semi off, i guess. namjoo would love to see her disappointed." baek kyung shrugged
"namjoo needs to grow up then! it would be really romantic to go to paris with you though!" danoh smiled "we can go sightseeing by the eiffel tower or eat french bread or whatever breads they have there!" danoh clapped, giggling to herself
what about french kiss- baek kyung stopped himself from thinking more and coughed out some dry air all of a sudden. (tf is dry air)
"kyungah, what's the matter?" danoh asked, patting his bacj
"nothing, nothing. don't touch me for now. i'm okay." he answered, moving away danoh's hand from his back.
"you're so red, are you sick? or are you a crayon?" danoh asked about to touch his forehead but he caught her hand
"i'm okay. you even had the time to joke." he smiled
"well i hope so! it was funny inside my head!"
sagak [different stage]
"oh, baek kyungah! they posted something about a school trip!" danoh excitedly dragged him towards the bulletin board
baek kyung stayed behind and didn't want to be near the crowded area only danoh tried to see the announcement.
"kyung! we're going to jeju!" danoh excitedly ran towards him, "sad how we're not going to paris but jeju seems fun too!" danoh grinned with excutement
"are you sure your father will let you go?" baek kyung asked
"of course he will! he can't resist me."
"of course he can't." kyung smiled
"oh, danoh! hello!"
"haru, hello!" danoh waved back
"are you going on the school trip?" haru asked
"yes! are you?" she asked back
"of course!" he grinned, "how bout you baek kyung?"
baek kyung only nodded towards the boy.

"were you even part of the stage or are you still going with that changing fate bullshit you're on?" baek kyung asked trying to keep calm
"i don't know. what do you think?" haru asked
"guys what's wrong?" danoh asked
"nothing. well, i'll see you around danoh, okay? try to remember me soon." and went off haru
"that piece of shit." baek kyung mumbled to himself.
