"ugh oh god please no. stop thinking it's not healthy for your brain." hayoung rolled her eyes
"excuse me?" jinmichae sassed
"you are excused." hayoung sarcastically smiled
"stop being sassy and hear me out." he sighed
"okay, okay. sorry, go on." hayoung ate some fries.
"isn't jinmichae a dumb name?" he asked
"why you think so?"
"because? it's literally dried squid and i am not a dried squid. i am human—i mean we are humans in this manhwa. and shouldn't i have like a normal human name?"
"you have a point. so what do you suggest? we baptize you or something? give you a new name? isn't that like out of your morals? naming people??"
"i told you, i was just thinking." he shrugged
"hmmmmm. hmmmmmmmmmm. hmmmmmmmmmmmmm. hmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmm."
"stop humming, it sounds annoying."
"how about peter?" hayoung asked

"yeah, peter. like st. peter lol your new name, or a name only i could call you. it won't harm anyone. only i would know it, it wont change anything. i will call you peter only outside stages. no biggie."
"no." jinmichae sternly answered
"what?? why not??"
"it's dangerous. we shouldn't take our chances."
"bruh, life is boring with no risks taken. this is a little risk! vewy witol risk. not eun danoh risk."
jinmichae sighed thinking about it.
"okay, nevermind that then. let's call you rowoon?" hayoung asked excitedly
"ugh! when will you get over that manhwa? that was a cliche fangirl meets her idol one and i'm mad at how i was the group's manager. my visuals could have passed as a tenth member." jinmichae boasted, posing to flex his so called visuals.
hayoung snorted, "yeah right. okay nevermind that too then. how about changmin?" she asked licking the ketchup that got in her hand.
"no. think of other names that would best suit me."
"how about you think of it yourself?"
"you just told me not to think." he said in a duh tone, "just take your time, write them down or whatever then-"

a stage, it's been a while. it almost felt like hayoung wasn't even in a manhwa anymore as if like she was finally free.
"alright! p.e today will be with class a and b! please do not do anything stupid because i won't if i were you." the p.e teacher glared at the crowd.
baek kyung and hayoung's class was having p.e together. she didn't know if it was a good thing or not. maybe good maybe bad, but at least she gets to keep an eye on her brother.
"stretch for five minutes and run five laps as warm up. then we'll start with our dodgeball game, alright? class a versus class b!"
dodgeball again?? does the p.e teacher have no originality or the writer has no creativity?? hayoung asked cursing inside. she hated dodgeball. she would rather play basketball, volleyball, football or whatever else game that plays with balls except for dodgeball. she has been playing that game ever since and she's sick and tired of it. she has also been through a lot of trauma with it.
warm up went by smoothly. eun danoh was by the bleachers cheering on her fiancé. she took a few glances from haru and she knew he was pissed. she had to keep her guard up, no on knows what haru could do any second.
"juda, you should stand behind me. i shall protect you." namju proudly said standing in front of his girlfriend
"oh namju, thank you. you're the best." juda sweetly thanked him as the game started
hayoung was gagging inside. baek kyung was cringing, haru didn't really care and it sting a little bit for dohwa.
the game started and one by one people kept getting eliminated. hayoung was just a no-name extra, so she wasn't with a partner, the writer didn't bother giving her one since she was almost in the shadows.
"ahh! namju! be careful! i don't want you to get hurt." you know who
"it's alright, i'm fine. i got this. i'm oh namju!" you also know who
"just shut up and play." baek kyung retorted getting tired of the couple on stage and off stage
the game ended with baek kyung's class winning. namju ended up hitting dohwa in the groin, which hurt of course so he's in the infirmary for now. haru can visit him later.
the stage is almost over, hayoung can feel it. but she can also feel something that's about to happen.
"baek kyung-ah, drink this." danoh handed an opened water bottle
"thanks." he thanked ger then drank frim it
"ohhhh baek kyung, eun danoh! you two are starting ti get lovey dovey! just get married already!" saemi teased as everyone started to go with it too
"saemi! oh my! hehe i'm so embarrassed! stop it!" the girl blushed
"whyyy? everyone knows you two are engaged! you went through so much with your one-sided love story! you deserve to show off!" saemi gushed "tell us when's the wedding!"
"we can't tell yet, but it's soon." danoh answered shyly as everyone cheered and teased the two
soon? how soon? hayoung felt... heartbroken. she knew she shouldn't be, but she is.

the stage finally ended. she looked fir haru, scared she might do something dumb again, but he was actually walking towards her.
"hayoung, let's go." he called out
"huh?" the girl was confused
"stop listening to the conversation. let's go to dohwa instead." he smiled offering a hand.
"alright. let's go haha." she took his hand
they walked hand in hand to the infirmary, both feeling blue. the siblings had a more stronger bond than anyone knew of. they won't let pride take over each other's love for their sibling. haru knew hayoung was hurting. she never got over baek kyung even after how many manhwas; how many years pass by. and he knows she never will.
"you'll get danoh back, haru. i just know it."
"i know too."

ughhh i fell asleep earlier around 11 and i woke up and its 3am im stressed i cant go back to sleep!!!! grr
anyways!!!! im still watching penthouse and i really wanna make a fanfic about it 😭😭 i really wanna show the teens who's boss and make them suffer too bc they keep bullying rona and the other kids but always get away with it :/// but idk if anyone would read the fanfic so im having second thoughts hmppp anyway im updating a lot these days idk why lol but at least i hope yall are happy with it haha!
