It would be a lie if I said I wasn't happy with what Helen did for me. But because of my pride, I couldn't show the happiness right after the tantrum I just threw. It'd be embarrassing! And very child like.

This women, Sally Jackson, her name sounds familiar. Maybe I've read her name on a book somewhere..? Is she an author? Wait...no. Oh! Maybe I saw her name in Helen's old photo album? Yeah that makes sense.

"-You should pack you bags, we're leaving in two days and so should you" helen smiled and glared at my dad. If looks could kill, he would've been a dead man. I ran up to my room and locked the door. So let me get this straight- I'll be living with this..guy..that was looking for a roommate and haven't even met before? Well atleast I'll get to stay somewhere. I should probably ask Helen about her friend's son. What if he's in a gang, what if he hurts me? Ugh! Gods, I need sleep. Will pack in the morning. "I should probably write it and pin it up on the soft board..incase I- " wispering that to myself, I fished a pen from the pen stand beside my table and wrote 'pack bags tomorrow' on a paper "-forget" and put it up on the board.

"There-" going under rage sheets "-all done"

I had my bags packed and was eating breakfast. Helen and Dad were talking to the guy who was dilevery the box to the airport, while Bobby and Mathew sat next to me munching away their food. Things happened pretty quickly. I had packed my things in two days and ofc had to take two days off of my lectures. Besides I only had two lectures on both the days so I don't have to worry much. I'll just ask Jason to hand me his notes.

"Annabeth-" I turned towards the speaker; my dad "-honey I'm sorry? I know i should've told you about this before and-"

"Dad" I chuckled "you've been apologizing for tye past two days. It's alright. I don't mind unless I have to move from here"
He smiled and kissed my forehead "Thanks Annie. Now if that boy hurts you in any way, you better tell me or Helen. We won't let that slide" he said.
"Don't worry dad, I learned martial arts for a reason" I replied with a laugh.

"Also, you better not do any funny business with that-"
"Oh my gods dad! Please don't speak any further" I hid my face with my hands. What does my dad think of me?! Gods!

"Haha, okay then, finish up! We have to drop you at the boy's house"

Everyone sat in the car and the truck followed. It took about 30 minutes to reach the apartment building. It was very large. 30 floors maybe. It looked very expensive not hoing to lie. Helen said Sally would be waiting with her son outside the building and to my surprise they- more like she, because her son was nowhere to be seen. We got out of the car and Helen greeted Sally with a hug. "This is my daughter Annabeth, the one who'll be staying with your son" she said after freeting her. "Oh my, Annabeth, you grew up quite well, I've seen you once when you were about 6. You're beautiful" Sally commented me.
I couldn't help but smile, no one ever really complemented me. "Thankyou" I said.

You see I'm kind of a shy person around people I haven't met before. But Sally was different. She looked like a very kind, heart warming mother. She was very welcoming and strangely I didn't feel shy around her. My parents left after some talking, and ofc asking me to call them every once in a while. I promised I would. I still didn't see the boy I was supposed to share the apartment with.

"Uhm Sally, may I ask where your son is..?" I asked
"Oh, I asked him to clean the house, y'know how guys are like" she laughed
"I see, well should we..go in now?"
"Yeah come on, let me show you to the house. Percy can manage the tour. I'm getting quite late for work you see" she said looking at her clock while smiling.
I'm guessing Percy was her son's name?
"Oh, I'm so sorry for taking up your time" I said getting inside the elevator.
"It's fine, really" Sally replied while pressing the button for the 11th floor.
And I was correct this place really does have 30 floors!

The elevator made a 'ding' as it opened. There were 6 apartments on the floor. Sally went up to the 4th apartment and rang the bell. I followed suit. I had all my bags with me, and Sally helped me pick some too. While I was removing my phone out of one of my bags, the door opened. "Oh mom! And my new roommate!" The guy said.
I looked up and-
Percy Jackson!?
